The Cardinal #30 is a relaxing and cozy year round one bedroomapartment on the 1st floor of a traditional A-frame Chalet style building. A spacious bedroom with a king-sized bed, finished in rich colors offers plenty of privacy. This cabin unit has one bath, a full kitchen, eating space for two, and a full-sized living room with a plush leather futon couch (space for a 3rd person upon request) and an easy chair with hassock for putting up your feet after a long day. Try out our new SAUNA cabin! The space The Cardinal #30 is one of our newest additions to the Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge property. This ground level chalet apartment has a spacious bedroom with a king size mattress. The living room has a luxurious leather futon couch, which can serve as a space for an extra guest. The great room style space has a small bar top island in the kitchen that provides dining space for two. There is ample counter space, a dishwasher, stove/oven, fridge and coffee maker with coffee and supplies. Despite being at ground level, the chalet is bright and airy, due to large windows and a glass sider door. We have hard surface luxury vinyl plank flooring, there is no carpet. We have installed a new split-ductless heating and air conditioning system. Additional heat supplied by a gas Rannai space heater. The full bath has a tub/ shower combination. For outdoor enjoyment, we have a concrete patio with chairs and a brick outdoor chimney style fire place to while away the evening. There is a charcoal grill. We sell firewood on premises as well during the summer season. Again, please note that The Cardinal is the ground floor only, and that The Chickadee is located above in the A-frame. Guest access The Cardinal rental Includes access to all of our resort amenities as seasonally available. Our heated pool is open from Memorial Day through the 2nd weekend of September each year. Our new SUANA CABIN is open all year! Most outdoor games are available until the fall weather turns rainy & cold. Our game room is available from May 1st to November 30. We have 5 acre property on a dead-end street, allowing for room to roam. Instructions for Sauna use: Try our new Sauna cabin! Located below unit #25 raised deck (the one with the clear panels) in the Pines Section (follow sings for 28-32). the suana is housed in a small hut with a green roof. Please enjoy this new amenity! The control panel is located on the outside by the entry door. Please press the orange "P" button to start the heater, then on the digital timer enter the numer of minutes you would like to experience. When you are done, if the heat is still running, please press the "P" to turn off. ALWAYS PLEASE press the "lights" button when you leave so that the exterior light will shine at dark. The lit LED will indicate it is in the "ON" position. Thank you! Other things to note -The internet is ADKdiamondpoint and the password is “adklodge”. -The chalet is cooled and heated by a mini split ductless heat pump unit, located in the bedroom. This is controlled by a remote thermostat, found in the wall bracket just outside the bedroom. In the warmer months, please turn the a/c to "off" when you check out. In the cooler months, please leave the heat option set to the lowest temperature. Additionally, there is a gas fired renai heater in the living room, next to the door. Should you need additional heating, please feel free to operate this from the keypad on top of the heater. When you check out, please turn this off. -There are plenty of amenities. On the main Adirondack Lodge resort property, there is a seasonal outdoor pool, a game room located on the south side of the office building (open between May 1 and October 31). Look for the American flag to find the entrance to the game room. Guest laundry is available from May through September. There is also cornhole, shuffleboard basketball horseshoes etc. All of that is on the main resort campus where the green buildings are just below down the hill. You can walk down the path through the woods or you can walk the road and back into the property, whichever you prefer. We also have a large gas party grill located by the pool under the tiki bar. -If an outside wood fire interests you, there is a stone fireplace on the patio, and there are two large fire pits on the property. One is a large stone fireplace located in front of the pool. The other is across Vito Rd, just a short way downhill from the cabin. You can see the stones and green chairs. There are also several others that may be available, depending upon existing reservations. -Trash can be placed in the receptacles in the driveway. ADDITIONAL RULE POLICIES: -Our pet policy: We allow up to one animal, under 50 lbs and at least one year in age. There is a pet fee applicable to your stay. While a guest with us, animals must not be left unattended in your accommodation unless crated, are not allowed on furniture or bedding, and any “business” must be cleaned up by pet parents. The department of Health regulations do not allow dogs at pools or the game room.Guests must select "Pet" when reserving. Please contact us before booking if you wish to request exceptions to this policy. -Smoking is not allowed at our property, in accordance with New York State law. A $100 fine will be assessed to your stay if ANY evidence of smoking is found in the rented unit or in any of the building areas such as window ledges, common rooms or areas, stairs or the entrance area near to the reception. -Only the registered number of guests may stay in a Cabin or Suite. For cabin and home rental, please remember to bring your own bath and beach towels -A $25 charge for each additional adult guest per night will be charged. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation, without refund, if an unconfirmed number of people stay overnight. -We do not allow pets without express permission from the Property. -All our guests are asked to respect the property and privacy of their fellow guests and neighbors and to not make any excessive noise between the Quiet Hours of 10pm and 8am. We have strict quiet hours (everywhere on the property) to help everyone who stays with us have as relaxing and peaceful vacation as possible. Please respect neighbors and keep music on low volume while on decks or outside, as well as, keep volume moderate while indoors. In Pines #5, there may also be guests enjoying the separate two story 2 bedroom chalet on the upper two floors. -Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge is not responsible for lost or forgotten personal things on the premises. -Please keep any valuables locked in your cabin, suite or vehicle as a precaution. -The costs for any damages to resort property as a result of Guest usage and behavior will be charged to the Guest immediately. -Pool usage is at the sole risk of the Guest. Pool may be used during pool hours only. No horseplay, running or diving is allowed. -It is the Guest's responsibility to operate any fire places or fire pits SAFELY.
