Close to burger bar, ice cream, mini golf, bakery, shopping and the harbor town. Welcome! The space When you arrive at the end of a quiet side road, you will first encounter the large south-facing garden of 1204 m², which is filled with trees, bushes and flowers, just waiting to be explored. At the entrance, there are good parking facilities and completely withdrawn on the grounds is the orangery, annex and cottage with the terraces facing the south-facing garden. If you arrive by electric car, a charging station (22 kW) can be used by appointment (DKK 4/0.6 euro per kW). In the garden, there is a lovely playground located at the front of the property, on the opposite side of the parking lot, where children can use the sandbox, swing set, smaller slide, and a new large and safe trampoline! From the house's sunny terraces, the playground can be enjoyed from a good distance, but so can the view of the entire garden. The garden is also ideal for family fun with one of several garden games or for ball games on the garden's football field. You may also be lucky to be visited by the garden's small, wild guests such as hares, porcupines, pheasants and roe deer. The cottage has both an open terrace and a cozy veranda with bench sets and heat blankets, so you can always find a nice place to enjoy the outdoors – regardless of the weather. On the terrace, there is a beautiful lounge set and a couple of sun loungers ready for you, as well as a garden table with comfortable seating near a charcoal grill. You can also choose to set up the table tennis table, take a refreshing bath in the sun shower or fill an outdoor bathtub so the kids can splash, or adults can enjoy a lovely bath in the open air. Near the annex, you will find the cozy fireplace with a fire bowl, so you can easily light a fire and roast marshmallows or marshmallows, and enjoy the outdoors and nature. If the weather is bad, you can alternatively use our orangery behind the cottage, where both children and adults can enjoy a quiet and lush oasis with seasonal plants and flowers. The orangery has beautiful seating areas for relaxation, but the orangery also offers activity options with darts, table football and backgammon, as well as crayons if the kids want to draw on the orangery's tiles. The ▪️cottage The house is generally simple and functionally furnished for a comfortable and effortless vacation, where everything you need is already here. There is stable Wi-Fi with unlimited data, and the house is heated or cooled efficiently with a newer heat pump. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, induction hobs, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer and coffee machines, and adjoins a dining area for 6 people. There is a cozy living room with a sofa, sofa bed, armchair and Smart TV with Danish, Nordic and German channels as well as Netflix. In the living room, you will also find a workstation with paper and markers for the family's youngest artists, as well as several brochures and tips for excursions. And if you to spend more time in the house, you can look in the closet where there are many classic board games and other entertainment. In the house's entrance, there is access to a washing machine, and behind the house, you will find a drying rack for the laundry, so it can easily be dried in the fresh air. The cottage also has a newly renovated bathroom with toilet and shower, where there is hot water for all the guests of the house. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed at one end, and a bunk bed for the children at the other end, as well as a bookcase and bed rollers for storage. If more sleeping places are needed, a travel bed for the smallest children can be put forward, just as the living room sofa bed can easily be prepared as an extra bed. The annex also offers two extra beds, with quality beds that can easily be put together to form a double bed, as well as a dresser. Outside, the annex has its own illuminated terrace with a cozy cafe set. Bed linen and bath towels can be rented for 10 euros per person, so you can travel light. ▪️Beaches and surroundings The cottage is close to Sejerøbugten with about 300 meters to a natural beach with two nearby swimming bridges about 100 meters to each side. Kattegat beach to the north is about 1 km from the house and is a public beach often with shallow water and sand for a cozy swim. Both beaches invite you to relaxing walks and swimming experiences in beautiful, pristine surroundings. If you are into 5-star beaches and full days on the beach, Gudmindrup Strand is just a 17-minute drive from the cottage and is known as one of Denmark's best beaches with shallow water, lifeguards and a charming ice cream shop – perfect for a family day by the sea. Nearby you will also find Havnebyen, Zealand's Oddes largest fishing port, where you can buy freshly caught fish and enjoy local delicacies. Also visit Tir Bakery for freshly baked bread – popular with both locals and visitors. For families with children, Sommerland Sjælland is a must, only a short drive away and full of fun activities for children of all ages. The nature around Sjællands Odde offers unique experiences; Korevlerne at Sejerøbugten is a protected natural area, perfect for hiking with rich wildlife, and Kastanjelys provides a cozy experience with handmade candles and local products. In addition, there are plenty of experiences within a short distance, such as Anneberg Kulturpark, and easy access to both Copenhagen and Aarhus by car and ferry. Guest access You have access to all facilities - inside and outside. Tool sheds are not available. Other things to note Our neighbor has a playhouse for children in a tree near the boundary - it does not belong to our cottage and therefore must not be used by your children. Annex and orangery are not available in the winter months (November 1 - March 1).
