Relax at peaceful Sandpiper Cottage. One of 5 holiday cottages at our family and pet friendly country estate. 40 acres of private woodland and gardens to explore from the door. Private, idyllic and peaceful fishing lake on site (small charge for fishing) Private patio area and fully fenced lawn to the rear of cottage. Outdoor enclosed heated swimming pool (Open April - October) Option to book your own private 2 hour or 1 hour slots ( Free of Charge). Centrally located to explore West Wales. The space Entrance from courtyard into open-plan Living and Dining room that has exposed beams, natural stonework and a tiled floor. The sitting area is furnished with comfortable sofas, Smart TV/DVD and occasional furniture. The dining area has a dining table and 4 chairs. Bedroom 1 - Pine Double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bedroom 2 - has twin 2ft 6 single pine beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The Kitchen and Bathroom are down 3 steps. Fixed retractable baby gate fitted on top of steps and handrail fitted. The kitchen has a range of light oak units, integral electric hob and oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer, kettle, fridge freezer, microwave and toaster. The bathroom contains a suite of bath, overhead shower, WC and wash hand basin. Outside, your own private patio area awaits, offering stunning views across the rolling countryside, with fields, woodland, and even the distant Preseli mountains in the background. It’s the ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee, unwind in the evening, or simply take in the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Enclosed (fenced and gated) Communal lawn with views of the Preseli mountains. Guest access Explore the 40 acres of private woodland and gardens, enjoy time swimming in our outdoor enclosed heated swimming pool (Option to book private 1 or 2 hour slots on arrival - Free of charge) or spend the day fishing at our private lake (There is a small charge of £10 per person per day to fish with maximum 2 rods per person) *Swimming pool open daily from 28th of March – 31st October Swimming Pool opening times: April, May, June, July & August Saturday 10am - 9pm Sunday - Friday 9am - 9pm September & October Saturday 10am - 7pm Sunday - Friday 9am - 7pm Our private Lake is approximately 3/4 of a mile from the cottages. Enjoy a walk through the woods or it is accessible with a 4x4. (NOT accessible with a car). A parking spot is by the entrance to the lake. The lake has been stocked with grass carp and common carp but tench and golden rudd have also been caught. Catch and release with barbless hooks. 21.62lb Grass Carp caught (and released) in June 2025. Starlink WIFI Other things to note The cottages are off road down a private driveway outside of the village of Llanboidy. There is no public transport passing the property. We are approximately a 15 minutes’ drive to Whitland and St.Clears in Carmarthenshire. Both have public houses, butchers, co-op and takeaways. The Preseli mountains are a 20 minute drive away. Centerally located to explore the welsh coast with various beaches to the North (Mwnt, Poppit, Tresaith), South(Saundersfoot, Tenby, Pendine) and West (Abereiddi – blue lagoon and Newgale). 2 Dogs welcome (Please contact if you'd like to bring more than two dogs) Highchair and travel cot available on request Cottage can Sleep 4 with 1 Infant Please note - no room for a travel cot in the double bedroom. Enclosed fenced and gated communal Lawn to the back of cottage with stunning views of the Preseli hills.
