The Afan Valley itself is a hotspot for biking and hiking and the neighbouring valleys connect to so much more. Follow the River Tawe down the Swansea Valley for some fresh sea air as well as hustle and bustle of Wales’ second city. In the other direction, you’ll find peaceful picturesque scenery for miles, the Black Mountains of the Brecon Beacons being a favourite! The space GROUND FLOOR: 3 steps to entrance. Living/dining room: With Freeview TV Kitchen: With electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Bathroom: With shower over bath and toilet. FIRST FLOOR: Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed. Bedroom 2: With bunk beds (double on bottom, single above). Bedroom 3: With single bed. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Highchair. Private parking for 1 car; additional on road parking. No smoking. This traditional stone terrace provides modern accommodation for families or friends to enjoy an adventurous break in the Afan Valley. The open plan living/dining room is set up with a comfortable seating area as well as a dining table and chairs. The bathroom is unique, a bespoke tiled tub with shower over is a great place to freshen up and soak those muscles after a day on the trails. Upstairs are three bedrooms that can sleep up to six. The master bedroom has a comfortable kingsized bed, the second bedroom has a double bed with single bunk over, and the third bedroom has one more single bed. Guest access Guest will have access to the entire property. Other things to note This is an ex miners cottage. The 4 steps upto the front door are steep. The internal staircase is also reasonably steep. There are steps into the bath/shower. Please consider whether this property is suitable for you, if you have mobility difficulties. The house gets lovely and warm, some guests may choose to turn the radiator thermostat valves down, so please do check they’re all turned up if you like it warmer. The heating is on a schedule, it comes on for two hours in the morning and five hours on an evening, when the house is occupied (smart nest thermostat) . If you intend to heat the property for long extended periods in between these times you may be liable for extra charges.
