Enjoy our newly built modern rustic style cabin in the middle of a 25 acre property located just outside of the Metcalfe Village in Ottawa. Surrounded by nature in a tranquil hard wood treed forest. A quiet and relaxing getaway where you can unwind from the busy city and everyday life. Cool off during the day by taking a dip in our common area inground pool, enjoy a beautiful walk on our groomed trails around the property, and stargaze at night while you enjoy a drink by the camp fire. The space You will stay in a four seasons 12x24 foot - Handmade Amish cabin, finished with natural pine interior walls. This cabin has two small lofts for sleeping, a pull-out futon couch in the main living area along with three lounge chairs, living room has a T.V with DVD player and an assortment of DVD's. Eating area has a dinning table and comes fully equipped with a kitchen that includes the following; Running water for kitchen sink, Refrigerator (apartment size), Propane stove (element burners), Microwave, Air Fryer oven, Coffee machine, Toaster, Electric skillet, Cookware, Dishes and Cutlery. Outside the cabin there is an extended deck along the front porch, an additional eating area - with table and chairs, Propane BBQ, a Wood burning cook stove and small Wood burning oven, Firepit, Hammock, and a brand new Amish-made outhouse. Guest access You will have access to our full property 25 acres of beautiful hard-wood treed forest with maintained walking trails all throughout. You can access our beautifully maintained large inground pool, surrounded by a gated and closed off private fence located close to our main house (5 minute walk from the cabin). The private/ gated pool area includes; a changing room, a mini fridge and bar area, patio furniture, and plenty of space to soak up the sun on one of many reclining lounge chairs surrounding the pool. Other things to note Showers are available at the main house - upon request. We can provide you with a towel and toiletries, if needed. Dry and pre-split firewood is available for $5.00 a bundle - upon request. The cabin's electricity is run off a generator - gas can be provided at your own expense. Please note - You can drive your vehicle on the trails to the cabin in peak season (Summer and Fall). During the spring melt and snowy months the terrain is not maintainable, and risk your vehicle getting stuck. However, we can provide a complimentary ATV shuttle service for your belongings. In the winter months we welcome ski-dos/ sleds.own expense Registration Details Exempt
