Mountain Chalet

Our refuge is a 6,700-meter property within the Altos de Cerro Azul complex. Where you will enjoy spectacular sunsets, bird watching, beautiful walks along the river, waterfalls and walks along the trails within the park. We have a villa and two rooms (can be booked separately), BBQ area, campfire area, deck with panoramic view, bounce house, swing, hammock, wifi, Netflix, Disney, HBO, gardens and a variety of fauna. We take care of every detail. The space The Chalet was built in 1985 and won the Spia architecture award. It has been maintained while preserving its design. It is comfortable, convenient and perfect to enjoy as a family or a romantic night to have a good wine and be in the Jacuzzi. In Cerro Azul the climates vary, but when it is cold this Chalet without a fireplace remains at a very warm and pleasant temperature. It was built for the strong winds that we have in our geographical position. "The Lady of the Winds". It's serious when it starts blowing on top of this mountain oasis. Guest access It has a wooden deck with a dining room for 6, where the BBQ is, a Jacuzzi overlooking Lake Alajuela and if you are lucky the spectacular Caribbean Sea. The campfire is in a small private forest that the property has, wifi is available and it is totally rustic, there is always wood ready to burn. Ask about the marshmallows. For renting the chalet you have 1 hour of Jacuzzi and Turkish bath Other things to note Jacuzzi where you can see the most beautiful sunset and a campfire to light it with marshmallows.
