Near Ellesmere, Shrewsbury, Chester, and Snowdonia National Park. The space The Old Milking Parlour is as the name describes. Once this building housed a milking parlour for the Friesian herd of the Boughey family who farmed here for 50 years. We stripped it down and it is now the kitchen, and the old corn store was in the master bedroom above! The property offers a large kitchen diner with casual (sofa and armchair) seating as well as dining table to seat 9 (5 chairs plus bench); central hall with WC and small, single bedroom leading to the large TV lounge which opens out to the patio and large garden, perfect for the kids and big enough for a kick around or game of frisbee. There are 4 king bedrooms (two en-suite with walk in shower and two that share the central bathroom with large bath and walk in shower) and one small, single room. Outside is a fenced in large, private garden with patio area and dining seating for all to enjoy. A six-seater hot tub and BBQ add to the fun! A short 2 minute walk away is our local pub which serves great food. Guest access The barn is two stories but there is one single bedroom downstairs and a downstairs loo. Other things to note General pricing is based on 2 guests. Additional guests are charged per person/ per night. Minimum stay: 2 nights Bank holidays and peak periods have separate minimum stays and pricing, as set in the calendar. These override the standard minimum for those dates. Please note that for Christmas and New Year we require a minimum of 4 nights and 8 guests. Pets must be pre-approved. A maximum of two, well-behaved, house-trained dogs are allowed. They must not be left alone in the property and are not allowed upstairs. Pet charge is £50 per pet/per stay.
