Enjoy this big, private room in the center of Berea with easy access to everything! There are restaurants within walking distance. Berea College is a 3-minute drive or a 15-minute walk. The yard of our property is an organic urban farm that feeds many local community members. This private room has a private bath with a walk-in tub. The couch pulls out into a full-size bed. You can rest, watch TV, have some coffee or tea, enjoy some work time at the desk, and have fun playing board games. The space The space listed is the master suite of our house. It is around 600 square feet with a private bathroom. In the room, we offer a desk, a chair, a microwave and a mini fridge, a TV, a bed, a couch, a collection of board games, a coffee maker, a hot plate, several dishes, and ample closet space. The bathroom has a toilet, a sink, a walk-in bathtub with a sitting area and a hand-held shower head that is accessible for people with disabilities, soaps, and fresh towels. All windows and doors can be securely locked from inside the room. Guest access The guest may only access the listed room and its bathroom. If the guests would like to use the house kitchen or laundry room, they must ask for the hosts’ agreement first. It also means that the hosts are only responsible for maintaining the guest room as a clean space per Airbnb cleaning standards before and during the guest’s stay, but they are not responsible for cleaning the rest the house to the guest’s personal preference. During your stay We are typically home and available for help. We are a family of four: two adults, one three-year-old child, and one newborn baby. We respect the human dignity of every being, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, or any other socioeconomic background. Other things to note The yard is not a typical lawn but a lush, productive urban farm that feeds many community members in Berea. It also means that you might see tall plants, safe farm tools around the farm, and at times, piles of compost or woodchips ready to feed the soil. We ensure that the listed guest room is always sparkling clean, but the rest of house is always in a lived-in condition because a family of four do live here all the time. Please have realistic expectations of a lived-in space where people cook, eat, play, and rest.
