There's plenty of room (16 guest maximum) with full access to the Main Cabin, the smaller Lower Cabin, the Bunkhouse, and a separate bathhouse. The Hideaway has a spectacular heated mini pool and hot-tub tucked back into the Ozark National Forest. If you like swimming, fishing or kayaking you'll find yourself waterfront on a secluded cove with a private dock. Come enjoy the great outdoors! The Hideaway is rustic and comfortable and offers the best of both worlds between beautiful Horsehead Lake and the stunning Ozark National Forest. There are four private bedrooms split between two cabins, a large open sleeping loft area, and a separate bunkhouse. Besides our amazing lakefront and spectacular pool / hot tub, the Hideway also has: Indoor - Projector, Ping Pong Table, Darts, Games, DVDs, WiFi (unavailable in some areas), XBox 360 Outdoor - Hammocks, Horseshoes, Bocce Ball, Rubber Dockie mat, Bag Toss, Swing, Volleyball/Badminton, Fire Pit, Kayaks, Fishing (Largemouth bass, Blue Gill, Redear Sunfish, Channel Catfish) In the Area - Wineries, Festivals, Hiking, River Floating, Waterfalls, Recreation Area with Beach and Playground, Boat Ramp And a special kind of magic in the air that will have you coming back every year! You have full run of the property. The Main Cabin, smaller Lower Cabin, Bunkhouse, and separate bathhouse are all included along with a private dock. We keep in touch through the Airbnb app. If you have any issues during your stay message us ASAP and we have nearby helpers that can assist if needed. The Hideaway at Horsehead Lake is in a secluded area of the lake with no visible neighbors. The dock is private and only for the use of guests at The Hideaway. The property is on a paved road, the driveway is steep and gravel but is typically not trouble for a standard car. There is parking by both cabins. There is a convenience store for ice and other necessities 3.5 miles away. The Hideaway is situated in a natural setting in the beautiful Ozark National Forest. If you or any of your guests are uncomfortable with an outdoors environment, this property is not the right choice for you. There is the possibility of exposure to wild animals, spiderwebs, snakes, fish, insects, birds, poison ivy and oak, adorable woodland creatures, etc. Although we do have WiFi and streaming services, it is at times very slow or unavailable in certain areas of the property, mainly the lower cabin but occasionally the bunkhouse as well. Please do not book with us if constant high-speed internet throughout the entire property is a must-have for you. The cabins are on a well system for water. Sometimes the well produces a slight sulfur smell which is harmless but we recommend bringing plenty of bottled water for drinking and brushing teeth if it is something that might bother you. Two of our bathrooms use a propane heater to warm the water. Occasionally the propane might need to be changed during a guest’s stay. Clarksville, Arkansas is located in a dry county (no alcohol sales) but is about 15 minutes away from Ozark, AR which is in a different county that does allow sales of alcohol. There is a second fridge/freezer in the bunk house for food/drinks. The reservation holder will be required to sign a rental agreement with reiteration of the house rules and water safety / risk liability waiver within 48 hours of booking confirmation. There will be no penalty for cancellation in that time period.
