Elegant Farmhouse in Champagne

Within the Champagne region, our country house is located in the Côte de Sézanne region, famous for its "Blanc de Blanc" Champagne, about 1.5hrs away from Eastern Paris and 2hrs from the airport Charles des Gaulles by car. Granges-sur-Aube is close to the lovely town of Anglure (3km) with a supermarket, pharmacy, doctor and post office, and a little further along Romilly-sur-Seine (with a direct train connection to Paris Est (1hr 8min!)) and scenic Sézanne. The space Our spacious house was built in 1900 by an architect from Troyes, keeping an rustic but elegant style with beautiful tiling and marble fireplaces. The old barn got integrated into the house, which now serves as the spacious living room (40sqm with high ceilings). The house has a pool on the back terrace (not secured thus watch your kids!) and is surrounded by a big garden full of fruit trees, flowers, bamboo, plants and herbs and it ends directly on the river "Aube" where you can canoe (we have one!) or swim. The property is walled in and surrounded by a fence. It is great place to find a break from busy urban life, to read, write and/or gather with (the extended) family and friends. The house is 245 sqm big. It works for a small family like ours as well as for bigger families. It sleeps up to max. 8 adults (3 double beds and 2 single beds) and 3 babies (1 crib, 2 transportable baby beds). Our house is fully equipped for babies and toddlers including a changing table, a crib, 2 pack-and-plays, toys, baby phone etc. Guest access You will have access to the house, pool and garden.
