Take a break and unwind at this peaceful 2nd floor oasis five miles south of the Tennessee border, and fourteen miles north of the city. This housing complex started in 2021, and is in a town rural enough for cows to graze nearby and chickens to be mailed to the local post office, true story. But a quick 20 minute drive will have you reveling in all the sights of the regular, the scenic, the historic, and the well developed tech centers that is modern Huntsville Alabama. The space 1 private 2nd floor bedroom with queen bed, up to 2 people. 1 private bathroom A quality queen air mattress with applicable linens is available for the second guest upon request. The bed/bath rooms are for the exclusive use of my guest(s). But the house itself is a shared space with me, the owner, who works from home. This space works best for guests over 18 who practice quiet relaxation, needing a place to stay during their travel activities. NOTE: This area is extremely close to construction and 2 schools. Exact linens may change, especially due to weather conditions. Guest access Designated bedroom and bathroom Occasional use of kitchen available upon approval (there is a mini fridge and microwave in room) Laundry facilities available upon approval. If access to any other area not specified is needed, please contact me for approval before entering/using. During your stay I live on site. I will interact personally with you from time to time as suits the situation, and prefer that method. Beyond that I am reachable at designated times via phone/text. Other things to note No smoking. No pets. No guests not on the reservations No parties. No illegal or questionably legal substances, activities, or anything else. No excess noise. No guests under 18. This is a 2nd floor unit in Northern Alabama. (READ: it gets hot AND cold here, and sometimes in the same day). My intentions are to keep my guests comfortable, but my AC can barely keep the 2nd floor at 70F. If you can not tolerate temperatures between 70-80F, this space will not suit you.) This is very close to an elementary and high school. Traffic during (7-8 & 2-4) beginning/end of school day will be bad. This is a rural town, but within walking distance to many fast food places, Walmart, restaurants, a smaller grocery store, the post office, and the public library. More variety of the same exist within 7 miles. About 35 miles from the Huntsville airport (HSV). Extremely close to one of Huntsville's major thoroughfares,. So as long as it isn't rush hour, travel into/out of the surrounding community is very easy. Note however public transportation does NOT reach this far, and Uber/Lyft to the airport and other locations, while available, can be expensive. Biking is great for recreation, but none are available with this rental, and are not practical for travel anywhere but the great outdoors in Hazel Green. You will need an automobile here. Parking is free. One slot available in the driveway. This complex is not yet complete, so expect construction machinery, equipment, noises, and debris in close proximity to the property.
