Charming and cozy cabin with sauna

Just 45 minutes drive from Tromsø city center, in beautiful Andersdal is our charming cottage which is located on a hill with fantastic sun conditions and beautiful views of the river, mountains and forests. In winter we often see a fantastic northern light dancing over the dark valley. In the surrounding area there is the possibility for hiking, hunting, fishing and berry picking - in addition to very good skiing terrain, whether you like cross-country or alpine skiing. The cabin contains a well-equipped kitchen, several indoor activity options and plenty of room. The space The cabin is located shielded in the woods, the road up to the cabin is private. In winter, we make sure it is cleared of snow. We recommend that you have a 4x4 car. In the spring, the road can be bad due to meltwater after a long winter, then you may have to walk a little bit to the cabin. In the spring/summer/autumn the area around the cabin is used for grazing sheep, cows and horses. The living room in the cabin is cozy, here you can enjoy indoor days too if you wish. If you don't want it completely quiet around you, you will find a radio, turntable and a speaker in this room. If you like candles, you will find them in a drawer in the kitchen dresser. Remember to blow out candles when you are not in the room. In the living room we have a fireplace for cold days, or just for coziness. We have filled up the wood basket with wood you can use. The ash container must be emptied daily. In the bathroom on the 2nd floor there is a toilet and a sink. In the cabinet you will find detergents, extra hand soap, toilet paper and paper towels. In the bathroom on the 1st floor there are towels and washcloths in the cabinets. Here you will also find shampoo, conditioner and body wash. In the drawer you will find a hair dryer and a curling iron. Detergent for laundry can be found on the shelf above the washing machine. In the kitchen you will find everything you need for preparing different meals. Here you will find, among other things, a Senseo coffee machine, kettle, tea, waffle iron, etc. In the cabin we have various dry goods and spices that you are free to use. We have also provided dishwashing liquid, hand soap and what you need during your stay for cleaning. In the kitchen there is also a fire extinguisher. In the bedroom on the 2nd floor we have prepared a double duvet. In the bedrooms downstairs there are two single duvets. In our cozy basement living room we have TV, DVD player where you can watch a wide selection of movies and TV games with various games. Down here there is also a wood burning stove that is recommended to use in winter when it is cold outside. On the loft you will find various toys (a lot of Lego), board games and drawing materials, this is also a nice place to lie down with a good book in peace and quiet if there are more of you in the cabin. We greatly appreciate if you take good care of the toys and put them back in place after use. On cold days, the curtain must be in front of the entrance. In our lovely sauna you can heat with firewood, we have filled up the firewood basket. If you want more wood, you must bring it yourself. In the sauna, it is mandatory to use a towel on the benches. Remember to empty the ash container between each time you use the sauna. The outdoor area has three seats, if it snows the plate is down under the roof. Inside the living room there are three reindeer skins that can be taken out, it is important that these are taken in after use and hung to dry (with the back out). In the storage space under the stairs you will find blankets that can be taken out. Guest access All rooms in the house are free for you to use. We have locked 2 storage rooms where we have our private things so that they will not be lying around for the guests. Other things to note There are no grocery stores in Andersdal, so you have to shop before you leave Tromsdalen/Tromsø. If you arrive on a Sunday, you must stop by a Sunday open shop, you will find an Extra shop at the Moxy hotel by the airport.
