Perched on The Angas riverbank, it is ideal for the romantics at heart looking for a modern, lux & private stay. Rain shower, kitchen, full coffee machine, free wifi, 55 Inch 4kTV, Lux bedding & king bed. The crown in the jewel for our guests, is enjoying their morning coffee on the elevated panoramic deck whilst overlooking the river & private nature strip filled with native bird life. The space 'SC Angas River' is not cluttered. If a clean, modern and minimalist recently refurbished self contained 1 bedroom circa 1850s cottage interests you .... welcome. The bathroom is modern with a big easily accessible rain shower. 'SC Angas River' has it's own private laundry facilities with both a washing machine & dryer available. The kitchen is spacious and has all amenities you would expect from hot plates to a microwave, big fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, full coffee making machine & bean grinder. (Note - There is no oven). The lounge room is roomy & comfortable housing a 55 inch 4kTV, DVD player and free hi-speed wifi. 'SC Angas River' is quiet & private, yet only 200 metres from the High St town centre. An original building, it is not built next to a busy street or road. It is located on a private road set back against the Angas River with a private nature reserve filled with Australian wildlife as it's backyard. This nature reserve leads directly to the Strathalbyn River Walkway. The bird life in particular at 'SC Angas River' is plentiful. Dawn & dusk on the deck or lazing on the king bed looking towards the Angas River is relaxing & rewarding. The Angas River showcases Kookaburras, Corellas, Sulfer-Crested Cockatoos, Honey Suckers, Wrens and many other birdlife throughout the year. Guest access You have your own cottage. Guests have access to all areas inside and out, including direct private access to our reserve on the Angas River. You will be messaged directions and key locked box instruction 24 hours from check-in. Other things to note We are the last minute check in specialists. So if we have vacancy, it is as simple as booking online and then collecting your keys from the lockbox and starting your getaway.
