The Pink Chalet on the LAKE

The Chalet, on the shores of Lake Eucumbene is an ideal location from which to be based in summer or winter, & water or land type adventures. The Lake has year round trout fishing & the rivers/streams are seasonal. Water access is convenient with a boat ramp only 500m away . The property has enclosed yard for car & average sized boat. Selwyn snowfields are 40 mins away & Thredbo/Perisher are 1 hr travel time. See the historic ruins of Kiandra, Yarrangobilly caves/Thermal pool, Alpine hikes. The space The Chalet, renovated to a high standard offers a great stay with 2 Queen bedrooms, (upstairs bedroom has adjacent small lounge with TV), leather furnishings & appliances, full kitchen & dining, Nespresso machine, TV/DVD (+ movies), stereo, inverter heating/cooling, designer bathroom, laundry, wood combustion stove, BBQ & outdoor entertaining. Complimentary Continental breakfast is provided for your first morning as Ground coffee, tea, Milo and coffee pods for Nespresso compatible machine. All linen provided. Note: we ask that you bring your own beach towel if you plan to participate in any water activities involving the Lake, Local swimming pool, Thermal Pool at Yarrangobilly etc. Satellite NBN internet with Wifi connection. Telstra mobile phone reception is great with Tower just down the road but there may be times when the weather will affect satellite transmission. We have your typical A Frame steep stairs to the upstairs bedroom which is NOT really recommended for those with limited mobility or young children under 6 years who cannot reach the stair railing or the high light switches at either end of the stairwell. They would be better suited to the downstairs bedroom. With two young children staying parents tend to sleep with one child each. In winter when wood fired combustion heater is burning, children should never be left alone day or night! Hand Sanitiser & disinfectant are on site for use by guests as required. A gap period is still enforced between guest stays. THIS IS A NON SMOKING PROPERTY. Pets cannot be accommodated for owner health reasons. Guest access Our guests have full access to the Chalet. Enjoy it as you would your own home. Other things to note The Chalet : -Is on Tank water - be WATER WISE especially during drought conditions, and - Has a Septic system - please do NOT flush sanitary/ contraceptives /makeup/wet ones or nappies etc down the toilet.
