Private cabin in the Nantahala National Forest — peaceful, private, and close to everything. Just 20 minutes to downtown Franklin and 30 minutes to Bryson City. Within 15 miles enjoy hiking, waterfalls, zip-lining, tubing, whitewater, lakes, rivers, breweries, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, Appalachian Trail, gem mining, and more. Seize the moment in the mountains. The space The house has four spacious bedrooms with queen beds, large closets, dressers, and separate bathrooms. The master bedroom is located on the main floor down the hall from the kitchen and great room. The great room has a gas stove for cooler evenings and adds a cozy ambiance as well as heat. The loft bedroom has a private bathroom and sitting area with great views. The first bedrooms downstairs is down the hall from a tv room with a pull out couch. The extra room on the other side of the downstairs has a full size bed and futon mattress that open up to a full size bed. There is a bathroom and laundry room on that level and the entrance door leads out to the hot tub and two seat swing. The fire pit is down below the house near the extra parking area and is nestled in the lower part of the property away from the house. Lots of space to get together, but also enough private areas to get away! Our favorite spot is the top level deck with a fire table that the great room opens up to. The windows bring the outside in and create a relaxing and rejuvenating setting for you to unwind and seize the moment. Guest access The entire house is open for your enjoyment. This includes three bedrooms, three bathrooms, three other rooms for gathering and sleeping, fully equipped kitchen, two wrap around decks that cover two sides of the house, a private hot tub with guest towels, a gas grill located on the second level deck, a propane fire table located on the top deck, a fire pit area with wood provided, and a laundry room.
