You have your own lounge with fridge, kettle, toaster & microwave. (Guests do not have access to the kitchen. I wash up your used dishes!) A calm, comfortable set-up, with parking, located in a quiet, leafy lane. Only 10 minutes' walk to the World Heritage Sites: Canterbury Cathedral, St. Augustine's Abbey & St. Martin's Church. The space The two guest bedrooms - 1 twin & 1 single - and a dedicated, private guest bathroom are on the first floor. (Once you make a booking, you will be the only party/guest, even if the booking is only just for one person). On the ground floor guests have their own PRIVATE living/ dining room ( with fridge, microwave/oven , kettle, toaster, crockery, tea / coffee. ) The living room has a glass door leading out onto a lovely, private, small patio garden with views of the cathedral. No smoking or vaping is permitted in, or near to, the house garden/ patio. My private rooms are on the second floor. The house is much larger than it seems! Guest access Only guests who are booked are allowed into the property for security and insurance reasons. This means no other visitors, or family or friends. Guests are not permitted to access the kitchen or my own private loft suite. Other things to note My house isn't really geared up to cope with babies or children under the age of 12, or any pets; it's totally pet-allergen free with oak wooden flooring. NOTE: I have a strict 'shoes off' policy when entering my home, at all times. Thank you. No washing of clothes is permitted (unless I have agreed to do a clothes laundry load for guests). Damp towels, or items, must not be put on any of the radiators, but should be hung over the bathroom towel rails or hooks. The space is 'an oasis of calm', 'a stone's throw' from the Canterbury Cathedral, ideally suited for people who want to enjoy a quiet, relaxing stay. My home is an ideal base for people coming to enjoy all the arts and cultural events and activities. 2026 Canterbury Festival runs from 16-31 October.
