Owner lives in separate quarters on site but is frequently gone fishing and the whole house is for your use! Large open floor plan on the first floor. Fully equipped dining room and kitchen to cook your favorite meals. Large entertainment room with a 65" television and great sound system that is easily connected to your phone via blue tooth. There is a comfortable sitting area with big open windows to enjoy a calm morning to start your Alaskan adventures! Owner has separate living quarters on premises removed from the house rental that he may or may not be at during your stay, the only shared space is the entryway. He is a commercial fisherman and is frequently gone fishing. His parents live directly up the hill, and someone can always be contacted by phone or text. He was born and raised in Craig and is happily willing to share local knowledge on fun things to do in the area! The home is in a quiet residential neighbor. The old cannery, a local landmark with a small park and beach is only a short walk down the road. The layout of the house, with garage and entryway facing the road and separate from the main living quarters allows one to feel like they are secluded right in the middle of town, with the only views being the ocean and and surrounding islands! One can feel like they have it all to themselves while still having access to all the conveniences of being right in town. All amenities are within a reasonable walking distance. There is also a local cab service, local bus, and for longer trips there is a rental car agency located in town.
