The Forge House (expo room)

I live in a little piece of heaven where you only need to walk 150 m to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets. I live in an old house from 1900, in tuffeau stone typical of the banks of the Loire. It has 3 fairly independent levels. It is very welcoming despite some work to be finished. It has a "Berlin squat" style that I like very much, (cracks in the wall or slightly torn wallpaper will not affect your comfort). You will love, for sure, this charming and unique place The space My home is a safe space for folks from all minority and marginalized groups. I welcome guests of all races, faiths, genders, and sexual orientations. This room accommodates 1–3 people. You will find a 140 x 200 cm bed and I can add an extra bed for 1 child or adult and a baby bed if needed. This room has been recently renovated to be versatile and accommodate a few exhibition events throughout the year. The decor remains simple for this reason. Nevertheless, I wanted to leave traces of its former life by restoring only 2 walls out of the 4. It is very bright and spacious (23 m2). I have arranged a living room area and small library. You will be comfortable there, in the eastern light. Guest access If you come by bike, it can be parked safely in the garage of my private garden in the back of the house. The entrance to the house will be from the street. This corresponds to the 1st floor of the house. 3 bedrooms are on this floor as well as the kitchen and toilet. The bathroom is on the ground floor where I live most of the time. I will be happy to prepare an organic dinner or breakfast for you at an additional cost. You will need to let me know at least the day before your arrival. During your stay I will remain reachable by phone throughout your stay and in case of emergency during my external working hours, I will leave you my phone number of the restaurant where I work 150 m from the house. Other things to note In my home, life is shared with friendliness and respect for differences. There may be other people in a nearby room as well as a roommate upstairs. It's pretty nice to meet people, especially if they're caring. We are attentive to the tranquility of all those present. I really appreciate people who are sensitive to respecting energy and water consumption, for the well-being of our society.
