Shepherd's Delight is located in a peaceful tranquil setting surrounded by fields & pastureland. In its own private garden, it is the perfect getaway for both couples & single adults, providing a perfect base to explore the dramatic beauty of North Cornwall. Nearby are historic Tintagel castle & Boscastle & the beautiful surfing beaches of Widemouth Bay, Polzeath & Bude. Away from the road, at night its foxes & owls, at day its buzzards & geese, the ideal retreat from the bustle of modern life. The space Our Shepherd's Hut has everything you need for your stay, be it for two days, a week or an even longer break. SHEPHERD'S HUT It has a 4ft 6 cosy comfortable double bed with ample storage for clothes underneath, a fold down table with two chairs, a kettle, coffee maker, toaster, small fridge and a sink. There is a separate toilet area within the hut; A heater, DAB radio, TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs are also provided: Books, magazines and traditional board games to enjoy a quiet evening together are available; There are 7 x 3 pin plug sockets and 2 USB charging point for phones and lap tops etc, internet (unlimited) connection is provided and the mobile phone signal is very good. KITCHENETTE Within two steps of the Shepherd's hut is a separate and private outside kitchenette incorporating a large shower area, it has a double gas burner hob, a microwave, larger 30 litre fridge, and kitchen sink with hot and cold water. All tableware, cooking utensils and a kettle are provided. There is an electric heater for those chillier times when showering. Bed linen and towels are provided. A separate drying area is available for wetsuits etc. Guest access From the main road you will come down a farm lane (0.7 miles/1km); enjoy the peace and quiet, the wildlife (Kestrels, geese, rabbits and sometimes deer) and the lovely surrounding fields. Shepherd's Delight is accessed down a gravelled footpath through its own lovely private garden from its own private parking area. Outside the shepherd’s hut and kitchenette is a table and chairs for outside dining or to enjoy a glass of wine, a Chimenea Log Burner for the cooler evenings and a barbeque area with BBQ. There is also a private grass area in the garden, ideal for relaxing in the sun. Other things to note Guests are provided with a complimentary first net of logs, fire lighters and kindling wood; Guests are to provide their own charcoal. Complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits and a pint of milk are also provided for you on arrival. Unfortunately we are unable to accept any pets. There is unlimited 4G WIFI and the mobile phone signal is very good. Two surfing bodyboards and a beach rug are available for guests. Check in is after 1200hrs
