Sunset Cottage

Sunset Cottage is a unique and tranquil getaway with stunning views of Kenmare bay. The perfect place to call home as you explore Kenmare and it’s surrounding areas, ideally placed on the Wild Atlantic Way and Beara Peninsula. Situated 6km from Kenmare town, it’s within easy driving distance of a host of attractions and activities, Star Outdoor activity centre is located a one minute drive away. The space Our home is a 4 bedroom bungalow located on a private road just 6km from Kenmare town. Downstairs: You will find an open plan living/dining area with high ceilings and open fire. Comfy leather couches and smart tv. A sliding double door, framed by an arch, giving you the perfect view of the bay. A spacious kitchen with everything you will need, including a large island with barstools and nook ideal for breakfast. A small utility room is located just off the kitchen with a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. There are 3 bedrooms downstairs, 2 x double and 1 x twin. The largest bedroom has an en-suite with shower. A large bathroom, with bath/shower, is also downstairs. Upstairs: The upstairs bedroom is located in a converted attic space, accessed by a spiral staircase. The internal apex ceiling height is 1.8m (6ft) with a height of 0.9m (3ft) at the side walls. Here you also will find another tv and a couple of beanbags, making it a nice chill out space. Outside: In the covered porch, looking out at the bay, we have a large timber table with 4 chairs. We also have a bistro set (small table with 2 chairs) that you can move to wherever suits. We also have two solid Irish oak benches looking out at the view, which are beautiful for watching the sunset. The garden, to the side and front of the house, is enclosed by a wire fence. Mature trees surround the rear and sides of the property.
