Handley’s Coast House: Slowdown, relax, & enjoy!

The Handley's Coast House is a great way to enjoy the peace of the West Coast, surrounded by nature. You will appreciate the area's beaches, parks, trails and many hidden gems! ***We would like to assure our guests that we are continuing to provide high standards in cleanliness. Our team have and will clean high-touch areas, disinfect interior surfaces, and maintain a hygienic environment. We wish you all the best in health and will do our best to keep our suite a safe and peaceful getaway.*** The space Our Sunshine Coast suite is modern with a real West Coast feel. Inside the suite we have used warm wood accents, many are right from the property. With wood beams, vaulted ceilings and white walls with modest amounts of decor, its both bright and warm making you feel at home. Outside, there is private tiered patio area that works with the natural landscape. Our guests will enjoy the property's 1.17 acres of ever changing paths, gardens, orchard, bamboo garden, ponds and adjoining network of public trails right at the edge of the property. It's our goal to feel apart of and connected to the natural landscape. With a wood stove inside, a private fire pit on the patio, private entrances at the front and back of the suite, guests feel right at home. There is a TV in the bedroom and the living room, each with Apple TV and Netflix. When fire bans are in effect we provide a approved propane burning fire pit. A propane bbq is also provided for your personal use. Guest access The suite is located at the end of a long country driveway with a turnaround at the end. Loading and unloading can be done at the top of the driveway. Parking is designated off to the side of the driveway, closer to the road entrance. Most of the property is open to our guests. Areas close to the main house are considered private. Other things to note Meeting guests expectations is our goal for your trip. This suite is private, we are sure you will enjoy all it has to offer. The suite is single-storey, there is no occupancy above or below. The suite joins a 30% portion of the main house that is our part-time residence. Most often, no one uses the main house while there are guests using the suite.
