Quaint little forest hut on the hiking trail

In the middle of the forest, surrounded by oaks and beeches and horse pastures above the Sieg, is this small oasis of well-being. The rustic tiny house is a converted sheepfold with a romantic sleeping loft, a small living-cooking area, with forest views and an outdoor separate toilet, both without running water. Here you can switch off from everyday life, relax, ground yourself and recharge your batteries in a wonderful atmosphere. The space The detached cottage is indeed a very small tiny house, but it offers you a total of about 18 square meters (194 square feet) of living space over 2 levels. On the lower floor is the living area with a small kitchenette with fold-out dining table and a small sofa bed (1,40 m wide). The small kitchenette is equipped with a kettle, 2 hotplates, mini oven (really very small) and toaster. A fridge/freezer can be found in the entrance area in the main house. Please note: there is no running and no hot water in the cottage itself! Below the cottage is a water connection and the dishes can be washed directly at the house at the "dish table". In the attic, there is a romantic sleeping loft, approximately 1.50 m (5 ft) high, which can be accessed via a steep staircase. Please be absolutely sure to note that you are not allowed to park there! For this, it is wonderful to sit in the dormer at the window with a fantastic view of the forest. If you're lucky, you can see the squirrels scurrying through the trees. There are a total of 2 toilet options. The rustic version is an outdoor toilet directly by the house - without running water and heating. A little bit of "outhouse" feeling! Then there is another bathroom in the main house, about 20m through the garden. There is a normal toilet, a urinal, a sink and a shower. Everything with running hot water. The bathroom is sometimes also used by other guests. The 2 sleeping areas can theoretically accommodate 4 people in the cottage. This is quite feasible, but for longer stays it may be a little tight. You are welcome to ask if it is possible to come with 4 people. The Wi-Fi connection in the cottage itself is very poor. However, it is possible in the garden. Guest access Feel warmly welcomed to our home! The cottage has a small, partly sloping garden area that is only accessible to you and completely fenced. We are also happy to share our large garden right next door with you. By arrangement, you can use the hot tub or the cool tub, the fire pit, the seating areas under the awning, and the large grill over the fire. Please note that we live in the middle of the forest and therefore it is not always possible to make a fire during long heat and dry periods in the summer months! Other things to note During the colder months, there is a portable electric stove that heats the cottage. Unfortunately, it is always a bit cool right at the front door and on the floor, so warm socks and slippers should not be missing in the luggage. Our entire property is fenced and your personal area around the cottage is extra fenced, but not completely "dog breakout-proof". Dogs are welcome. However, we ourselves have a dog and 2 cats on our property, so if you have a dog that is not sociable, please check with us in advance.
