Pecan Palms log house is positioned next to the sandy bottomed Orara river, known for Bass fishing and crystal clear waters making it the ideal location to fish, canoe and swim. If wildlife watching and bushwalking is more your thing you can enjoy long walks through the 40 year old pecan orchards, Palm tree plantations and the Australian bush that surrounds the house on the 100 acre property. The space High ceilings, large glass windows and quirky wooden features like arched wooden doors and ship cogs inside Pecan Palms leave you feeling mesmerised from the inside out. The upstairs spacious loft bedroom has a handmade wooden king bed with adjacent veranda and personal outdoor bath tub. As well as a ladder that leads you to a tower above that looks out over the entire property, the perfect place to star gaze. The living and kitchen area on the main floor also have surrounding verandas and an uncovered round deck that looks out to the river beach entrance below and is the perfect place to entertain. The spare bedroom is a light filled cosy space with a queen bed and a panoramic view of surrounding gardens. Downstairs you will find the outdoor stone bathroom where you can Rinse off from the river and take in the beauty of the place. Other things to note We encourage all guests to get back to nature and enjoy a digital detox whilst staying at Pecan Palms though we understand this isn’t always possible so we have listed a few things to take note below 🍃 -There is a Telstra Cel FI GO reception booster located at the tree house however there is minimal to no Optus coverage -At this stage we are unable to provide a strong wifi signal to the inside of the treehouse due to the nature of living rurally (this is something we hope to offer in the near future). You can however connect to wifi in the yard directly in front of the treehouse near tyre swings and in various places when walking around the property depending on your phone.
