Main level living provides two bedrooms, full bath w/tub and a convenient half bath in the main bedroom. A loft with two twin beds accessed by a ladder adds a touch of adventure to your stay that kids love! The well-equipped kitchen will make cooking a breeze. We even have seasonal fresh herbs you can pick from the garden for your culinary creation. Other things to note The drive: A 4 wheel drive vehicle should be used for inclement or winter weather as refunds will not be provided due to weather. Travel insurance is recommended, especially when visiting during winter months to protect your trip. You will be driving on two lane, winding mountain roads to get into Basye and Raccoon Rd. Please note that this unique treehouse setting has a steep grade and sits ~ 20 feet off the ground. The gravel driveway is a hard left turn off the street. We recommend you drive past the house, turn around in the cul de sac for a straight shot into the driveway. Driveway holds comfortably 2 vehicles; but has held 3 small sedans. The home: The third bedroom is a loft with 2 twin beds accessed by a steep ladder. Though kids love it, some adults may not. Guests hold owner/host harmless for use of the ladder/loft. Fireplace is not in working order. Insurance will not permit grilling or wood burning fire pits due to the fire hazard of a wooden house, deck and close proximity to the woods.
