The former, listed farmhouse is 10 minutes from Gstaad and can also be reached by public transport. In the new part of the house (with underfloor heating), you will find: – Large open space consisting of fully equipped kitchen with cooking island, dining area and access to terrace – Sofa corner with exit to an outdoor seating area and office corner with desk – bathroom with shower, toilet and wash – with big big big big big double bed. Since the original room structure was largely left in the old part of the room, the house is not obstacle-free (door heights about 170 cm) and the sound insulation is not comparable to a new building. Other things to note The old beams give an idea of how mountain farmers lived in the 17th century. Living room and bedroom on the ground floor of the old, over 400-year-old part of the house are barely 2 meters high and there is no contemporary sound insulation. Upstairs the doors are less high than the norm and the windows are rather low (about 80 cm. from the floor). On the thoroughfare of Gstaad – Col-du-Pillon – Les Diablerets, 40 m away, it has excursion traffic, especially on weekends during the day. In the evening and at night it is very quiet. Please let us know if you would like to arrive with smaller children. On request, we can organize a high chair, baby bath or cot and have a safety lock gates installed on the first floor if necessary.
