E-bike fun and nature enjoyment in the Bucklige Welt

Kirchschlag is a small town with an 800-year-long eventful history on the border with Hungary. The place is located in the middle of the "Bucklige Welt" [Hunchbacked World], surrounded by hills that reach up to an altitude of 700 m and offer fantastic views. The area is ideal for hiking and biking. The spacious 3-room apartment is located on the upper floor of the 2-family house and is accessible at ground level. The pleasant atmosphere invites you to let go from the start. The space The house is situated in the middle of a large garden. On a paved path you reach the barrier-free apartment via a low step. The living/dining room is flooded with sun almost all day with views of forest and pastures on the opposite side of the valley. From here you can also enter the spacious balcony, which invites you to have breakfast on warm days. The dining room and the 2 bedrooms are equipped with parquet floors. The kitchen is fully equipped and invites you to cook, bake and whatever. The spacious bathroom has been newly adapted. Guest access The apartment has a separate entrance. In addition to the 3 rooms, kitchen, bathroom and toilet, there are other rooms on this floor that are locked and will not be used by me during your stay. The garden and terrace in the area of your entrance are at your disposal. Occasionally, however, the lawn is mowed and the garden is maintained, otherwise you are undisturbed. Other things to note The area around Kirchschlag offers numerous possibilities for excursions. On the road towards Vienna, the spa town of Bad Schönau is 6 km away. After another 4 km, you will find Krumbach with the Greissler ice cream factory and a small brewery. To the south you can reach the town of Bernstein with a beautiful castle and natural pool and shortly after that Bad Tatzmannsdorf with thermal baths and a golf course. To the east you can take a beautiful bike path to Lockenhaus, which hosts a music festival in the summer and a few km further, right after the Hungarian border, is Köszeg, the former Güns with its city center still from the imperial era.
