There is are great restaurant/bars just steps down the beach or there are lots of great restaurants 5 minutes North in Akumal Beach and Akumal Puebla (where the turtles are) and several more in Chemuyil , 5 minutes to the south. Minutes from Tulum and its famous Mayan Ruins to the South and Playa del Carmen to the North for great shopping and nightlife. You're situated between several major Eco water parks including Xel-Ha, Xcaret and Xplor. The Hard Rock is 10 minutes away and features major music acts weekly. As well as Cirque De Soliel and their Rauscha show.
