This beautiful, lakeside lodge overlooks a stunning lake, golf course and tranquil Nature Trail beyond for walks.. Its peaceful ambiance makes it perfect for holiday guests to chill. The well-equipped cottage opens onto a spacious decking area, furnished with dining and relaxing seating, an amazing pergola and bbq. Leading to the private dock, it allows fishing from the lake. The park Leisure Suite has a fab pool, steam room, sauna and gym, with trendy Cafe Revive, restaurant and Spikes Bar! The space Have you ever dreamed of waking up and finding yourself in a kind of paradise, where the only music you hear is birdsong, or the splashing of water as a duck lands on a tranquil lake? A place where there are big, wide-open skies, filled with stars sparkling when night falls, and the moon casts shadows as an owl hoots in the darkness beyond. This defines The Dock of the Bay, our beautiful holiday home in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Take a look…and you, too, can live this dream. Here, you will find everything you need to know about this very special place! Our lodge is a restful place, with a contemporary, coastal theme suited to holiday living. It is partly surrounded by a wooden, decked terrace for relaxation, with easy steps leading down to the enhanced fishing ‘Dock’ for private lakeside access. Don’t forget to relax on the outdoor chairs and sofa and seek seclusion under the fab Maze Living pergola, with it’s own colourful lighting system. Back inside, there is an open-plan, fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area, leading onto the terrace through two sets of patio doors. Many appliances, eg integral fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, gas hob and microwave oven, together with useful small electrical appliances, are available for your holiday use. The wide Breakfast bar is ideal for kids to eat at, draw and well, just play! The lounge-diner has comfy sofas, chairs and cushions, all available for your holiday ease and comfort, together with a wall-mounted HD4K TV and electric fire for a chilly evening. Through the door to the self-contained, sleeping and bathroom area, you will find three bedrooms, sleeping 6, and two bathrooms. The Master bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables, large wardrobe space and is en-suite with a double, ‘drench’ shower. Bedrooms 2 and 3 each has two single beds, bedside table and wardrobe space. The main bathroom has a low level bath, with shower overhead. All beds will be ready made up with our high-quality bed linen and soft duvets/pillows, ready to flop into after a bath or shower and a cuddle from our complimentary fluffy, cotton towels. All the accommodation is bathed with natural light, but is also illuminated with fashionable spotlights and other ambient lighting, making it a perfect place to relax either by day or night. Why not make your holiday living extra special and give The Dock of the Bay a whirl?! Guest access Guests will have full, exclusive use of the lodge, during their stay. It is accessed by 4 shallow, wooden steps to entrance door level. Once inside, all rooms are on the same level. There are no steps up or down to access the bedrooms or bathrooms. Further access can be gained via the wider Patio doors to the rear of the lodge. It should be noted that there are several further wooden steps down to the lakeside. Other things to note Guests are able to use the Leisure facilities eg swimming, gym and golf etc on the Holiday Park. These are, however, subject to additional charges, details of which can be obtained from TSG Reception. It is usually possible to pre-book Family swimming sessions, one week in advance, subject to availability.
