Hilltop Hideaway is a peaceful high desert retreat. The neighborhood is so quiet you can hear footsteps on the road below. The one bedroom has a soft king-sized bed with a window behind it to let in the mountain air and listen to the owl that coos at night. The original stone fireplace sets the mood for cozy, romantic nights. The hot tub is perched above the world, so you can soak in the sunset and stargaze into the night. The fully remodeled and stocked chef's kitchen with a deep farm sink looks out across the desert valley. Guests have access to the backyard and front landing. Below the house is also part of the property. And if you want a nice quaint walk, you can walk down the driveway and on the dirt road. There is private property all around, so please stay in these areas. I provide Sparkletts Bottled Water Gallon Dispensary for drinking and cooking. Saves you from bringing your own gallons of water. Hilltop Hideaway is about a mile down a dirt road off the 62 that can be accessed by any kind of car. I give detailed directions so you find your way here easily, even in the dark. The neighborhood is quiet, and you will be at the end of the road. The driveway is steep because sometimes you have to rise above to find a better perspective. As you arrive, you might be a little breathless with the views. Immediately, your body and heartbeat will sync to desert time. It's a one-of-a-kind location with detailed amenities to ensure it's the most wonderful place you'll stay in the desert. I urge you to bring food because you might not want to leave. This unique tranquil getaway is designed to open you up and offer you the opportunity to connect easily to the slower mind, slower pace. Artists and writers find creative inspiration effortlessly. Guests can take a walk on the quiet road that leads to the hideaway. The house is a quiet retreat, and our neighbors enjoy the peace. Quiet hours outside start at 9 pm. No music or loud talking outside after 9pm. Voices and sound carry so easily because you are on top of the mountain. We encourage you to turn off the outside lights before retiring to bed, to contribute to the desert night sky where the stars and the moon are the only lights in the sky. Other things to note Guests don't touch trash or linens upon checking out here. Your time here is purposefully bliss. Both TVs have Netflix and Amazon Prime. A complimentary fire log is also provided for cozy nights with a fire in the original stone fireplace. I provide Sparkletts Bottled Water Dispensary for all your water needs - cooking and drinking. Saves you from bringing your own gallons of water. We love animals, and your four-legged friends are welcome to visit, but please let us know before your stay. We deeply love our furniture, so please don’t let them up on any. Also, the property is not fenced, and there is all manner of wildlife, so never leave your animal unattended or unleashed. Pets must be house-trained, not scratch furniture, and must have their own bed to sleep in. Please note that pets are not allowed to stay in the house alone or remain outside all night. Please take every precaution with your beloved pet and always clean up after them. Voices and sound carry easily across the desert landscape, especially because we are on the mountain.
