Akakura Onsen Yuzawa House

Mogami is a town in the northeast of Yamagata Prefecture, on the border with Miyagi Prefecture. Yuzawaya is in Akakura Onsen, a natural hot spring. The building is a retro hot spring inn from the 1960s. Please relax and enjoy the hot springs flowing from the source and the rich nature. It is a 5-minute drive or 35-minute walk from Akakura Onsen Station on the JR Rikuto East Line, the nearest station. Ginzan Onsen is about a 30-40 minute drive from the inn. Starting in 2024, we will limit the number of people for winter night sightseeing, so we will have a ticket system. No ticket is required for daytime sightseeing. If you wish to enjoy sightseeing at night, please purchase tickets from the official website of Ginzan Onsen. The space The inn is an old building about 80 years old. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by malfunctions, so please be aware of this and thank you for booking. We recommend that you come by car, as it is an inconvenient place to get to. If you come by train, we will pick you up and drop you off at the nearest station, Akakura Onsen Station. Other things to note There are not many restaurants around. There is a tavern and a restaurant within walking distance. It is a room-only stay, so meals are not included, but breakfast can be provided for 1,500 yen per person, so please contact us if you would like it.
