The Historic Mission Bungalows is within walking distance to the Fox Theater, new Riverside Public Library, The Mission Inn Hotel, Food & Game Lab, Convention Center, The Cheech, and just a few minutes drive to UCR. Our unique property features historic exterior with modern amenities. Air-conditioning, on-demand hot water, full laundry, dish washer, 50" TVs, hand painted Spanish tile, comfort, style, the best of the best in downtown. The space Mission Bungalows was originally built in 1923. A 3 year remodel was completed in December 2022. The exteriors were kept as built, but the interiors received a complete rebuild from floor to ceiling. Everything is new inside - floors, walls, doors, electrical, plumbing. The only original parts of the building are the exterior walls and windows which were preserved for historical significance. The interior floor plans are very similar to the original design, but we added indoor laundry and dishwashers. Guest access Mission Bungalow guests park in a gated, private carport parking area with one assigned parking space. Check in procedures detail the process. The front gate remains unlocked for walk-in guests. If your intention is to just visit the downtown area, you probably won’t use your car again the entire time you stay. Everything downtown is easily accessible by just a short walk on level grade. Other things to note A baby high chair and a toy box for children 5 and under is available upon request at time of booking. We may be able to drop them off after booking if the housekeeper is in the area. Please reserve before your arrival. Board/card games including Connect 4, Jenga, Uno, Yahtzee, Chess, Checkers, Scrabble, and Candy Land are located in the cabinet below the living room TV.
