The Culm, A Perfect Cosy Devon Countryside Stay

Welcome to The Culm, our lovely cosy 1 bed maisonette situated in beautiful Devon in the Blackdown Hills an AONB. The Culm benefits from its own entrance and parking for 2 cars. We are lucky to be surrounded by glorious countryside with many walks on our door step. We are located on the outskirts of the village of Hemyock. Make the most of our lovely 13m indoor heated swimming pool, pool table (shared with owners). Dog friendly 🐶 We are situated between the north and south coasts. The space The Culm is set complete with an extremely comfortable king size bed, a lovely shower room and fully equipped kitchen. Relax and enjoy your stay with our large super comfortable L Shaped sofa and our large smart TV. Make use of our lovely indoor 13 meter heated swimming pool and pool table all year round. A perfect way to relax after a busy day exploring or if you are just wanting to unwind away from a hectic lifestyle. The Culm has its own private parking for 2 cars. Enjoy The Culms fully enclosed private garden with seating in the summer and an extra bonus of an orchard for you to sit in, relax and enjoy. We are walking distance to the village which has a pub, spar shop and a post office. We have lovely walks and public footpaths around us and locally for you to explore the idyllic countryside along with a dog walking park just a stone’s throw away, great to book if you don’t want to walk too far. The Culm is dog friendly, we say a maximum of 2 dogs per stay. The Culm is the perfect property for couples or a small family (maximum 2 children) to escape to the countryside and surroundings and enjoy a relaxing break away. Guest access Guests have access to a lovely secure garden at the front of the property. They also have access to our 13m indoor heated swimming pool and pool table all year round (shared with owners). Guests are welcome to wander into the orchard and use the seating there. Please note if you have a dog they need to be kept on a lead in the orchard and we ask you to please pick up any dogs mess both in the secure garden and orchard. No dogs allowed in pool area. Other things to note Here at The Culm we happily welcome dogs, there is a charge of £50 per dog which is automatically charged when you enter a dog or dogs to your booking. Maximum of 2 dogs per stay. No dogs allowed in pool area. Please pick up any dogs mess both in the secure garden and orchard. Please can we ask you to bring your own dog poo bags and beds with you. We have a dog food bowl and water bowl in The Culm, please let us know if you would like us to put them out for your stay. We also have The Dog Park a stone’s throw from us here, great to book your dogs into to tire them out. We recommend booking before your stay to secure a space. The Culm has its own entrance and parking for 2 cars. We welcome children but please note that it is a 1 bed property so a maximum of 2 children. We would be happy if you wanted to bring a travel cot or air bed with you along with children’s bedding. We do have a highchair should one be required, please request when booking if so. We don’t have street lights so we recommend a torch if you are wanting to walk back from the pub in the dark 😊
