Room in East Launceston Home

Our home is a 1920s bungalow with recent additions and renovations. Seeing our son has recently moved out and we thought it was a great idea to share our home with kind and thoughtful travellers to Launceston who would be considerate of our special space. We live in East Launceston, a wonderful neighbourhood with plenty of local cafes nearby and a quick walk to town and not too far from the southern end of Charles Street The space The bedroom available is light and airy, with a very comfortable queen bed decked out with linen bedwear and a range of pillows. The main bathroom is available for mostly exclusive use as we have an ensuite, although note it does contain the laundry cupboard so some sharing may be necessary. Guest access We both work full time but will endeavour to change our schedule to greet and show you around house. If not possible, access will be arranged via key stored in a secure location. The key will be yours for the duration of the stay to come and go as needed. Please let us know your proposed arrival time on booking. You are encouraged to interact as little or as much as you would like – you are more than welcome to join us for a meal, a drop of great Tassie wine, and Andrew can host a decent whisky tasting should you fancy. Breakfast provisions are also available, as is a very good coffee machine and grinder and of course beans. We are also able to offer local tips – the best places to eat and drink, and all the good things to see and do. Other things to note We occasionally work from home in the dedicated office area, so at these times we may need your understanding. Our home wouldn't be complete without our charming four-legged friend, a friendly and well-trained Golden Retriever. You will therefore need to like dogs and the associated dog hair that always seems to be around despite how often we vacuum. This is a no smoking property.
