Description
Corraun View is a modern family holiday home on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. The house combines comfort, stunning views and direct sea access, and is only a 5-minute walk from Achill Sound village. It's also a great base to explore the Blue Flag beaches at Keem, Keel and Dugort, the Great Western Greenway walking and cycling trail to Westport, a ferry to Clare Island, Ballycroy National Park and Dark Sky Observatory, and hiking at Ireland's highest sea cliffs at Croughan. The space The house is recently renovated throughout and offers a spacious dining area and separate spacious sitting room, with an open fire and a pool table. It also has a modern kitchen. It has three bedrooms: a large double bedroom with a king-size bed and stunning sea views, a double bedroom, and a twin bedroom with two single beds. All bedrooms have wardrobes and bedside lockers. There is a bathroom with a pumped shower, as well as a toilet/WC beside the bedrooms. The house is very cosy, including central heating and insulation. All of the rooms to the rear of the house are south-facing and are light-filled all day long, offering fabulous views of the Corraun peninsula and the south of Achill Island. The house is on two acres of private land and has access to the sea at the bottom of the garden. There is also a lovely walk through the two acres of forest at the side of the house to the sea shore. We allow a local farmer keep sheep in the fenced field at the back of the house and the farmer visits very occasionally to care for the sheep. Guest access Guests have full access to all of the house.
