Old-fashioned atmosphere in a manor-like log house

A unique holiday destination in the idyllic and charming church village of Iitti, between a beautiful wooden church and a golf course. The accommodation is in the manor-like, history-filled Vuorela log house, built in the 1840s, with old furniture and wallpaper, tiled stoves, and spacious high rooms that create an old-fashioned atmosphere and peace. Private quiet yard with the possibility of sauna in the gentle heat of a wood sauna. The space The large Vuorela house has 3 rooms for accommodation: 2 bedrooms and a shared living room between them. The facilities are well suited for a group of 4 people or a family, with extra beds also for up to 6 people if necessary. Both bedrooms have double beds. A crib or single bed can be added if needed. Linens are not included in the price. An additional fee of 15 euros/bed is charged for the sheets and must be agreed separately. Access to a separate toilet and shower room through the hallway. Guest access The second bedroom has access to the dining room, equipped with: a coffee maker, kettle, microwave and fridge for your own snacks. There is no water point in this dining area. Sauna in the old-fashioned yard sauna costs 40 euros, or 35 euros when heating yourself. There is no shower or electricity in the sauna. The host lives in the house. You can agree with the host on the possibility to explore other parts of the house, such as the magnificent, bright hall, and at the same time you can hear about the interesting history of the house. Other things to note There are stairs in the house, so the place is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. In summer, the attic gallery ArtVuorela operates on the 2nd floor of the house from 11 am to 5 pm. Art guests also visit the art shop, which guests can use as a dining area if they wish. The guest toilet is available to both guests and exhibition visitors.
