Vacation home in Seythenex

We rent our 110 m² living space, for a couple with between 2 and 4 children (+ baby equipment available), located at an altitude of 800 m, in the Massif des Bauges Regional Natural Park between Annecy and Albertville. 10 minutes' drive to shops, 15 minutes to Lake Annecy. Bike path, many hiking and snowshoeing trails, paragliding, many ski resorts within 1 hour drive Stunning views of the mountains from the terrace and house. Garden of 1000 m². The space The house consists of a large living room with a very well-equipped open kitchen, Kitchenaid, traditional oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, Nespresso coffee machine. Sponges, tea towels and cleaning products are provided. The kitchen opens onto a dining area with a large square wooden table of 1.50 m, which can accommodate 6 to 8 people. The living room with sofa and TV area is adjoining, with the wood stove that heats the whole house. Upstairs, two bedrooms. The first has a double bed and its bathroom. The second has a mezzanine and offers 4 beds thanks to 2 pull-out beds. Linens and towels are available as an option for 15 euros per bed. There is a large bathroom with a corner bathtub and 2 sinks, plus a separate toilet. The parking lot overlooks the garage, which can accommodate bicycles, skis, hiking shoes depending on the season. The laundry room includes a washing machine, a dryer and a sink. The garden is accessible from the parking lot or via the terrace and offers a superb view of the surrounding mountains, the Dent de Cons, the Belle Étoile and the Tournette massif. The vegetable garden is also accessible and can allow you to pick beautiful produce in summer, zucchini, beans, raspberries and rhubarb in particular. Guest access We offer the entire accommodation except for our closed office, in which we store our personal belongings, which offers guests all the available cupboards. Other things to note Seasonality is of course important to us, with big differences depending on when you come. Winter of course offers skiing opportunities in the following resorts, all about 1 hour away: Les Saisies, Megève, Arêches Beaufort, Le Grand Bornand, La Clusaz, Courchevel, Méribel. Crest Voland is closer, and its new cable car connects to the Diamant area. With a lot of luck, when the snow is there, the cross-country ski resort of Seythenex is open, 500 m from the hamlet. Autumn and spring are transitional seasons that allow you to hike or bike from the house, with peaks ranging between 1800 and 2500 m, as well as quieter walks on the flat in the Tamié valley. These are times when there are fewer people on the shores of the lake, on the bike path and to visit Annecy, and the small towns on the lakefront. In summer, the possible activities are countless, between Lake Annecy, the mountains, paragliding, the Col de Tamié amusement park, the pendulum jump from the Seythenex bridge, and the visit to Annecy (1 hour in summer and 40 minutes otherwise). In any case, our hamlet is very quiet, 10 minutes from Faverges, in a preserved mountain environment.
