Set on a peaceful working ranch in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Ofelia’s Garden Studio is a cozy, private retreat named after the home’s original owner. This one-room, one-bath studio features a private entrance, plus a microwave and mini fridge for simple meals. Relax outside and take in the quiet beauty of ranch life—perfect for morning coffee or nighttime stargazing. Ideal for travelers seeking a simple, serene escape with a touch of history. 4x4 vehicle recommended in the winter months. The space This little studio is attached to the main home, but has its own private entrance with an enclosed porch for guests to enjoy. There are two dogs who live on the property, german shepard mix and a chiweenie who may greet you during your visit. There are also two other pups who visit often: a min/pin chihuahua mix and a chocolate lab. This property is part of our family's working ranch, so guests may occasionally see cattle, horses, dogs and farm/ranch equipment in the vicinity. Livestock is fenced out of the property. Occasionally the horses will sneak through the gate and if that happens during your stay, we kindly ask that you send us a message so we can get them back into their space. Since our property is located in the mountains, we can sometimes get a lot of snow, so we recommend guests have a 4x4 vehicle in the winter time to get in and out easily. Other things to note This property is located in a mountainous area and cell service may be limited depending on your carrier. Please make note of the WIFI password before your arrival so you have a way to communicate with us should you need assistance with check in. As noted before, this property is part of a working ranch.
