The Rushes is a spacious luxurious holiday lodge offering stylish accomodation with covered hot tub for up to 4 people. Nestled within the 5 star Hollicarrs holiday park, situated on the southern edges of York, the lodge with wrap around decking, overlooks beautiful woodland, creating a tranquil space for the discerning holiday maker. The lodge has 2 bedrooms, one with a kingsized bed and one with a zip and link bed offering both a superking bed option which can convert to 2 single beds. The space The Rushes is an open plan lodge, designed to give up to 4 people a luxury experience. Walking into the lodge, guests will be struck with how open, airy and luxurious the space feels, with a vaulted ceiling, sumptious fabrics, and high quality designer touches created by its owner, a professional interior designer. In the main living space, the open-plan kitchen is superbly equipped with high quaity Dualit toaster and kettle, as well as a Bosch Tassimo coffee maker with complimentary coffee pods provided. A large oven, hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher will offer everything you need to make meals or snacks for your stay. The large open-plan area offers seating around the breakfast bar so guests can socialise whilst dinner is being prepared. 2 deep soft sofas are provided should you wish to cuddle up in front of the TV which offers Netflix and all Freeview channels. What will catch your eye is the stunning view that the lodge offers. Large french doors plus panoramic windows will give access to beautiful views across the open woodland, which also lead to the large decking that wraps around the lodge, complete with outside dining table and large sunken hot tub. Alfresco dining or a relaxing soak in the large hot tub complete with canopy and changable lighting allows guests to truly relax in this glorious space. A complimentary bottle of Prosecco is provided so guests can wind down and soak up the atmosphere. The lodge offers two large bedrooms, one with an ensuite shower room, the other access to the famiy bathroom. The master bedroom offers a kingsize bed with a large double wardrobe, dressing table and bedside tables. This bedroom leads directly to the ensuite shower room with large overhead rainshower. The second bedroom offers a "zip & link" bed which is great for giving guests the choice of either a huge superking bed or split into 2 single beds , ideal for families. The luxury family bathroom is adjacent with large bathtub as well as over bath shower. Complimentary toiletries are provided and a hairdryer is available in each room. Both bedrooms have TVs with Freeview channels as well as Netflix. Bedding is of high quality and fluffy towels , robes and slippers are provided for each guests, ensuring a luxury, relaxing experience. FREE Wi-Fi is available to allow guests to keep connected. A BOSE waterproof speaker system is offered to allow guests to connect their own music which can also be taken outside to enjoy around the hot tub. Upon entering the lodge guests will pass through a utility which offers space to deposit coats and shoes and is also where any laundry can be undertaken with access to a washing machine and sink. A BBQ stand is provided on the decking which guests can use with disposable BBQ trays (available to buy from the main reception), giving families and groups the perfect opportunity to fully use the outdoor space to relax, eat and entertain.
