Boho Hamble Hideaway Near Marina & Village
Boho Hamble Hideaway Near Marina & Village
Description
Escape the city, throw away your to-do list, and ease into the unhurried pace of seaside village life. Whether visiting the yacht clubs or taking time out to reconnect with family, you’ll feel rejuvenated by the cozy, boho vibes in our peaceful little retreat. This cozy little house is a 10 min walk from the marina & yacht clubs + the village, where you’ll find quaint pubs, coffee shops, and 2 co-op convenience stores. Experience England’s South coast like a local: make your reservation today! The space Perfect for "yachties", city residents looking for a tranquil escape, or long-term renters visiting family in the area. The space at a glance: • Small home (443 sq ft) with lots of character • 4 rooms (living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom) • 1 bedroom • 1 double bed • 1 sofa bed (small double, clic-clac style) • Combined living room/dining room • Decent-sized sunny garden w/ patio • Sleeps up to 4 • Sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac • Kid-friendly (Not kid-proof!) • No pets • No parties What sets this quirky home apart? • Low cleaning fee • No chores • NO Road noise! Many of the other AirBnBs in the area are right on the busy main road. • Lots of character. Are you as sick of soulless AirBnBs that look like an Ikea vomited all over the house as we are? • Well-equipped for long-term stays. Up until recently, this was our full-time residence! • Super close to the village, marina, and yacht clubs • Nice, sunny garden with lots of outdoor space • Peaceful, quiet setting where you'll constantly hear bird song (and the occasional fox screaming bloody murder) Downstairs: When you first walk in from a long day on the water or a drive down from the city, you'll be greeted by a cozy, comfortable living room, oozing good vibes and decorated with an eclectic, bohemian style. You'll find a small wooden dining table in the combined living room/dining room, along with a riot of green potted plants, a 27" television (w/ Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube etc), large sofa that seats up to 4, and which contains a "clic-clac" style fold out sofa bed that sleeps 2. Walk through the living room to the well-stocked kitchen, and you'll feel right at home with everything you need to cook a full meal or warm up a bit of takeaway. The kitchen is equipped with a full hob and stove, full-sized refrigerator, high-quality pots and pans, a Nespresso machine, cafetiere, and essentials like coffee, tea, salt, sugar, etc. The combined washer/dryer unit is also under the counter in the kitchen. Upstairs: Stroll up the stairs and enjoy the original, framed collage art crafted by hand by "@MCollageArt", the resident artist right across the street. There you'll find a full bathroom featuring Spanish floor tiles and Majorca-themed art to celebrate the 100 kilos+ of paella that I've probably eaten over the past 20 years. The bathroom has a full-sized shower with high water pressure and enough hot water to soothe aching muscles after a long day exploring the sights of the south coast. Keep walking and you'll come to the bedroom, with a comfy double bed with a mattress topper that'll help you sink in and drift cozily off to dreamland. The good vibes and thoughtful touches are apparent up here as well, with carefully chosen wall hangings, more potted plants, and a full-sized wardrobe perfect for long stays. Outdoors: Outdoors, you'll find a large, sunny, South-facing garden - rare in this area for such a small house - with a patio area, grassy area, outdoor dining table and chairs, and still more potted plants. Enough space to unwind with a few cold drinks on a summer day, let the kids run around and burn off energy, or even play a few outdoor games. You'll also appreciate the convenience of the free private parking out front.
