Coconest ONE (Couple Unit) Floating Waterstay

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. A shuttle will be arranged to a floating platform where the Coconest is attached. Relax on a net overhanging from the water with 360 views of the surrounding landscape including an island and King Kong mountain. Watch boats drive by as you float on the water of Tanjung Rhu in a private space dedicated for Guests looking to get away from it all, tune out and immerse themselves in nature. The space **PLEASE READ** This is a floating property, similar to a boat therefore if you are prone to seasickness, it may not be for you. As we are floating, boats may pass by causing small waves that could make the unit move from time to time. The property is a floating coconut-shaped structure located at the base of King Kong mountain in Tanjung Rhu, Langkawi. Getting to the site requires a 5 minute boat shuttle and we are NOT connected to any land. The whole site is powered by a solar system. The Coconest is a “glamping” experience therefore Guests are expected to bring groceries to cook simple meals such as pasta, similar to a camping experience. Privacy: Note that we are located on the water with some boat traffic passing by during the day and also at night. The boats are simply passing by as they are fisherman and tour guides. If the expectation that there are to be no humans around, this is not the place for you. Guest access To get to and from the Coconest, a 5 minute boat shuttle is required. The site is shared with the campsite platform but the Coconest platform is private to Guests who booked the Coconest. There is a fish farm and watersport platform which is public and can be shared between all the Guests staying at the site. Other things to note Safety: Please note that the site has areas that does not have railings but we provide life vests and bouys throughout the site for safety. We also have staff onboard the majority of the time, but not 100% of the time. Food: We will provide nasi lemak as a complimentary for breakfast. (Except during Ramadan we will provide bread, jelly and butter). For lunch there are options nearby floating restaurant or beach restaurant if you wish to try just let us know. The restaurants close at 6pm. We will arrange taxi boat for you. You may also bring groceries to cook as we will provide an electric grille, kitchen utensils and mini-fridge. Off Grid Power: we are 100% off the grid and as such running on Solar Panels and Battery. At times if there is overconsumption of energy, the battery would need to be charged with a Petrol Generator for 1-2 hours. During those times, the generator will be a bit noisy.
