Home in Castlebar

A cosy 3 bedroom home, close to Castlebar town centre. The house would made an ideal base for a couple, small group or family looking to explore beautiful Mayo. The space A cosy family home in a quiet neighbourhood close to the centre of Castlebar and all local amenities. The house would suit couples, solo adventurers or a small family group. The house is situated on a large green area which extends down to the Castlebar River. The green contains a wonderful playground, a smaller toddler playground and enclosed AstroTurf area for soccer, basketball etc. You can directly access the Turlough/Westport section of Great Western Greenway via a footbridge over the river. Downstairs you'll find a comfortable sitting room with a solid fuel stove, TV, games, books etc. The kitchen/dining room is recently renovated and includes all mod cons apart from a clothes dryer. Teas, coffee, breakfast cereals and some cooking essentials are provided. The house has two double bedrooms. The third bedroom has a small single bed (85cm by 170cm). There is one family bathroom with bath/shower. We stay here ourselves with our two little girls so the house is well kitted out for travelling with small children. We have stairgates, a travel cot, a microwavable steriliser, a high chair, some toys, colouring materials and a parent operated tricycle. There is a large enlosed garden to the rare of the property. There is off street parking for 1 car at the front of the property. You can also park on the street but be mindful of not blocking a neighbours driveway or causing an obstruction. Guest access The guests will have full use of the house and garden apart from the shed which will remain locked. Other things to note Unfortunately we have no WIFI in the house at present. Or fortunately if you prefer a bit of a technology detox! But it's important to note in case you're hoping to work while travelling or if you have teenagers who can't survive without it!
