The Little House is part of an historic estate in downtown Bennettsville. Modernized for comfort and blocks from the Historic Downtown, the Little House is set back from the street for privacy and has access to more than 20 acres of woodlands. Halfway between Charlotte and Myrtle Beach but close to I-95, the Little House has everything for short stop-off stays or longer visits. Easy drive to NASCAR raceways at Rockingham and Darlington. Professionally cleaned and sanitized after each use. The space Originally an Art Deco cottage, the space retains much of its original charm. Surrounded by flat lawns with room for large vehicles and RVs, it is close to potteries, golf courses (Cheraw State Park, Marlboro County Family Golf Course) outdoor recreation (Cheraw St Park, Lake Paul Wallace, Pee Dee River for fishing and boating, NASCAR and motor sports at Darlington, Rockingham, and Florence) and close to area wedding venues - The Skye, Hubbard's on Main, Parker Pines, Southern Dream Wedding, Simply Southern, Laura's Farm, Hidden Acres, The Cabin at Old Spur.). The one bedroom cottage has a queen sized bed with high quality linens; the great room features a sofa which pulls out to a queen sized bed. Guest access There is a private covered patio and BBQ grill with the Little House. Other things to note A binder with restaurants and fast food choices, including delivery options, is in the Little House. If you travel with pets, be aware that part of the property is zoned for Forestry use and is heavily wooded. Pets should remain leashed for their own safety. We do have exterior security cameras on the property, covering the driveway, lawn, parking areas and exterior patio.
