Great for wading, boating, or swimming in the summer and bird watching and soaking up the peaceful views in the winter. Watch the sun rise over the lake from the King bed in the master bedroom! Perfect for artists, those looking to reflect or re-connect, or short getaways. Up to 2 dogs allowed, woof! ($50 fee) The space Main level: As you walk in the front door, you’ll enter the sunroom that overlooks the lake. With a huge dining table to your left and a daybed to your right, there is plenty of seating to gaze out the windows at the lake. Step up one level to enter the open concept living room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stainless steel refrigerator and gas stove. Dishes, pots and pans, silverware, knives, and a drip coffee maker are all provided for you. Please note, there is no dishwasher, but the view from the kitchen window looks out at the canal, so even washing dishes can be a restful activity in this beautiful home. Directly off of the living room is a small hallway that leads to a full bathroom, a bedroom with a queen bed, and the master bedroom with a king bed. Please note, the king bedroom has a cutout that allows you to view the lake straight from your bed. This is amazing as you can watch a full moon glimmer on the lake, and wake up to the sun rising on the horizon as ducks splash in front of you. However, it does lead to limited privacy between your bedroom and the sunroom. All linens are provided for you. There is a stacked washer and dryer in the hallway closet for your use. The front yard has a deck, a small yard, and a small sandy beach that leads right into the water. The side yard is fully fenced and is great if you’re traveling with dog friends and want to give them some outside time without having to supervise. Guest access Please note, the only thing that is off limits is the wood stove. Having fires inside the house is too much of a liability unfortunately. If you have extensive wood stove experience and would like to use it, please ask permission and we may make exceptions on a case by case basis. *Also, please note that this home does not have a dock. The dock you can see to the left in some of the lake front photos is a neighbors dock and not accessible. We enjoy not having a dock because it gives us an uninterrupted view of the lake, but there is a public boat ramp about a mile down the road Other things to note Please note: the wood stove is not for guest use. Everything else is there for your enjoyment! We allow up to 2 dogs per stay for an additional fee of $25 per dog to cover the extra cleaning. Sorry, no cats or other pets allowed without permission, but feel free to inquire and we will approve on a case by case basis.
