The Loft
Description
Sitting opposite an early 18th Century Georgian farmhouse on the edge of the Cotswolds, The Loft is the 1st floor of an oak clad outbuilding. With it's own private external stairway entrance and views over a mature apple orchard and rolling hills beyond it's the perfect place to relax or base yourself as you explore the rest of the Cotswolds and Oxford. The space The Loft was renovated in 2017 and when not in use by guests acts as a place we can read, listen to music and generally escape to. For this reason we do not have a TV but instead has been fitted with discrete modern technology including Yamaha audio receiver (Bluetooth compatible), vintage Technics turntable all playing through discrete Bose surround sound speakers. For those of you that want to keep connected, fear not, there is high speed wifi available throughout (and an Apple Macbook Pro for streaming movies if you wish). The gable end wall acts as our library, offering a variety of books which you are welcome to enjoy during your stay. It has an open plan layout with a top of the range king size sofa-bed and luxury linen. Check-in time can be arranged from any time after 4pm. We will welcome you on arrival and if there are any problems during your stay we will endeavour to help. Otherwise we hope that you will enjoy your independence. Guest access There is off-road parking in our drive. On arriving at the gates please contact us and we will let you in. Other things to note The bath is a pretty old fashioned one. We were unable to source a shower attachment for the taps so please use the jug to rinse out your shampoo the old fashioned way!
