Cosy family Victorian townhouse

This is our family house, so expect a cosy, (imperfect!) light-filled home, with lots of toys, games and books, and our friendly cat. We love where we live and happy to recommend places to eat and explore, such as Beckenham Place Park where you can swim in the lake! Our home is based in a south east london suburb, and has all amenities on the doorstep. Central London is just under 20 minutes by train, Crystal Palace Park a walk up the hill and shops and cafes on your doorstep. The space Our home is a traditional Victorian townhouse with high ceilings and lots of light. It’s set over 4 floors so lots of stairs! On the ground floor is the open plan sitting room with big comfy sofa and TV, a central play area with piano and this moves through into the kitchen/diner. The kitchen has a big skylight and the table has seating for 8. We have a big dishwasher, gas hob, oven, toaster, kettle, cafetières, microwave and large fridge freezer. On the first floor is the first bedroom with a king sized bed, next to this is the family bathroom with free standing bath and walk in shower. The second floor has the children’s bedrooms. One single room and the other with bunk beds and a cabin bed. Both have lots of books and toys to explore. The floor above this is our attic and we will place our personal items up here out of the way during your stay. Unless you’d prefer to use this double and en suite, in which case we can store our items in one of the other bedrooms that you won’t be using. Guest access You’ll have access to the whole house and garden, except the loft, where we will keep our personal items while you stay, and the garden music studio. Other things to note Our cat Pip will be present during your stay and will need his food topping up once or twice a day. Other than that, he’s an independent cat who comes and goes as he pleases and is no trouble.
