Surrey Hills Country Cottage

Sapperton Cottage is set in the beautiful grounds of our country house, a stone's throw from the pretty Surrey Hills village of Peaslake, with its country pub and cute village store. Enjoy our tranquil setting, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with amenities such as mountain biking, hiking and horse riding on the doorstep - or just sit on the comfy outdoor sofa in the orchard next to the cottage! The cottage is fully detached and located about 10m away from our family home. The space The recently redecorated cottage, has a well equipped kitchen with a Nespresso maker, washing machine and tumble drier, a separate dining room and spacious living room overlooking the orchard. The bathroom and separate toilet are located on the ground floor. Upstairs, are 2 good sized double bedrooms - one with a double bed and sink and one with twin beds. Please be aware that the stairs in the cottage are relatively steep, and although there are handrails on both sides, the cottage may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, or young children. Outside, guests are welcome to enjoy sitting in our orchard. Guest access Inside: Guests can access the entire cottage apart from the storage room at the top of the stairs. The storage boxes in the cupboard under the stairs are for private use only. Outside: Guests are welcome to enjoy the orchard at the back of the cottage. The rest of the gardens are private and we ask that guests do not access them please. The family tennis court is behind the cottage. The family will occasionally be using this space and will need to walk across the orchard to get there. The tennis court is not available as part of the cottage let. Parking: We have a dedicated area for guests to park one car in the driveway, next to the black metal lamp. We cannot accommodate extra vehicles, but there is plenty of free parking in the village.
