Cottage in the Clouds

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cottage in Cloudcroft, New Mexico! Situated in the Sacramento Mountains all the way up at 9000’ above sea level, our 1600 sq foot cottage is the perfect getaway whatever the season! The cottage boasts a queen, a full, two twin beds, a full kitchen and two full baths. With additional amenities like a mini-split air conditioner in the master, washer & dryer access and covered parking, you’ll fall in love with our pet friendly space! The space We have three full bedrooms. The first bedroom is located downstairs, and has a full size bed. Upstairs we have a bedroom with two twin size beds that are perfect for kids, along with a master bedroom with a queen size bed. The cottage also has two full bathrooms, equipped with a bathtub and shower.. We have a laundry room located on the back deck. There is also a kids play structure with a slide. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. BY BOOKING YOU ASSUME ALL LIABILITY WHEN USING THIS STRUCTURE. Guest access You’ll have full use of the home and yard space but will not have access to the adjacent storage shed. Other things to note Fur friends: Please coordinate if you have a dog BEFORE booking. Limit two dogs. We ask to approve dogs with a deposit as well as require them to be crated if you leave the premises. $50 pet fee with a max of two. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds. If your dog is used to being on the couch, please bring a blanket for them to avoid extra cleaning charges. Dogs are never allowed in/on the beds. Heating and AC: We have a thermostat that controls the heat on the far left side of the living room downstairs. Each room is equipped with fans along with space heaters for added warmth. Upstairs, the primary suite has a split unit that is controlled by a remote located in a basket on the desk. It will control heat and air. We also have a fireplace in the living room. Please only use it when you are home and make sure it is completely put out before leaving to prevent fires. TV: We have two TVs. One is located in the living room and the other is located in the primary suite upstairs. Both TVs are Roku with streaming access. You can watch any of your prescribed streaming services when logged in. Don’t forget to log out before you check out. This is the mountains and weather is unpredictable, come prepared. While we try our best to keep the driveway clear after a snow storm, 4WD/AWD may be needed to in it and around the village safely.
