A paradise overlooking the lake

Welcome to this snug cottage with secluded location and own bathing jetty and boat. You live comfortably in beautiful surroundings with forest and pastures nearby. Here you can stay all year round, with swimming and sun in the summer, mushroom and berry picking in the autumn season and Isaberg's slalom slopes only 5 miles away. Several excursions can be found within an hour's drive, such as swimming in the sea, shopping in Ullared or a day of adventure at High Chaparall. The space Rya has been in the family since the beginning of the 20th century and we are the fourth generation to own it. It is a harmonious and beautiful place where you can easily find peace and quiet. Our mom stayed here until her in 2021, and then we wanted to give others the opportunity to experience our wonderful Rya. There are three bedrooms with six sleeping places plus a bed on the upstairs hall. The kitchen is a bit worn but fully equipped. Good common areas, however it is low ceilings that old houses often are. Two bathrooms, one on each floor, with a shower and a WC. There is a washing room with a washing machine and a dryer. In summer there's a dryer. Large outdoor space with many seating areas, with access to barbecue and sun loungers. The lake is located about 100 meters from the house, with floating dock that you can swim from as there is no beach. There is also a rowing boat and fishing is free, however, there is a shortage of fish in the lake. You can solve a fishing license in nearby lakes. Search for a fishing license Långaryd. Guest access The entire property with plot and lake is at your disposal during your stay. Other things to note Electricity - not included in the rent. The guest reads their consumption and then pays the current price. Garbage sorting - Garbage should be sorted, more information is in place. Towels, soap and shampoo are included in the rent. Horses - If horses are in the yard, there is power in the fence. Please do not feed the horses. Robotic lawn mower - mows 6am-6pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays, drives 3 hours, charges 3 hours and then drives 3 hours again. Please make sure that no items are lying on the lawn that can be destroyed. If it gets stuck, we are grateful if you turn it off (red button). Dog - If you have a dog with you, make sure to keep it under good supervision and do not let it hunt game. All faeces should be removed from the lawn. There's a grip outside the outdoor space that you can use. Bathing - It is possible to bathe from the jetty, however, you should be aware that the bottom consists of duvet so you should not put your feet on the bottom. When we bathe, we always have a bathing ring or air mattress with us for safety reasons. Baths with sandy beach are located in Skärshult about 5 km south towards Hyltebruk. Fishing - You can fish from the jetty or boat, but there is a shortage of fish in the lake. In the conservatory there are 2 rods to borrow. In Skärshult cabin village, it is possible to buy a Fishing License/ Fishing License Day pass: SEK 50 weekly card: 150 SEK children under 15 years fish for free.
