A paradise overlooking the lake

Welcome to this cozy cottage with a secluded location and its own bathing jetty and boat. You will live comfortably in beautiful surroundings with forest and pastures right next to the cabin. Here you can stay all year round, with swimming and sun in the summer, mushroom and berry picking during the autumn season and Isaberg's slalom slopes only 50 km away. Several excursion destinations are within an hour's drive, such as sea bathing, shopping in Ullared or an adventure day at High Chaparall. The space Rya has been in the family since the early 1900s and we are the fourth generation to own it. It is a harmonious and beautiful place where you can easily find peace and quiet. Our mother lived here until her death in 2021, and then we wanted to give others the opportunity to experience our wonderful Rya. There are three bedrooms with six beds plus a bed in the upstairs hall. The kitchen is a little worn but fully equipped. Good common areas, however, the ceilings are low as old houses often are. Two bathrooms, one on each floor, with shower and toilet. There is a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. In summer, there's a drying rack. Large conservatory with many seating areas, with access to barbecue and sun loungers. The lake is about 100 meters from the house, with a floating dock that is good for swimming from as there is no beach. There is also a rowboat and fishing is free, however, there is a lack of fish in the lake. You can buy a fishing license in nearby lakes. Search for Långaryd fishing license. Guest access The entire accommodation with plot and lake is at your disposal during your stay. Other things to note Electricity - not included in the rent. The guest reads their consumption and then pays the current price. Waste sorting - Waste must be sorted, more information is available on site. Towels, soap and shampoo are included in the rental. Horses - If horses are in the pasture, there is electricity in the fence. Please do not feed the horses. Robot lawnmower - mows 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays, runs 3 hours, charges 3 hours and then runs 3 hours again. Please make sure there are no items on the lawn that can be destroyed. If it gets stuck, we would be grateful if you could turn it off (red button). Dog - If you have a dog with you, make sure to keep it under good supervision and do not let it hunt wildlife. All feces must be removed from the lawn. There is a grab that is outside the conservatory that you can use. Swimming - It is possible to swim from the jetty, however, you should be aware that the bottom consists of mud so you should not put your feet on the bottom. When we swim, we always have a swim ring or air mattress for safety reasons. Swimming with a sandy beach is available in Skärshult about 5 km south towards Hyltebruk. Fishing - You can fish from the jetty or the boat, but there is a lack of fish in the lake. In the conservatory there are 2 fishing rods to borrow. In Skärshult cottage village, there is the possibility to buy a Fishing License Day card: SEK 50 Weekly card: SEK 150 children under 15 years of age fish for free.
