Welcome to our charming downtown Ottawa Airbnb! Located right on the main street of downtown, you'll be in the heart of the action. Within a 5-minute walk, you'll find yourself surrounded by three beautiful parks and just a 20-minute stroll to The ByWard Market, Rideau Centre shopping mall, and Parliament Hill. The space boasts charming character with exposed brick and stone. You will have your own private bedroom and bath. We have two extremely friendly cats that will greet you, Dave & Dave The space A beautiful and charming space with a large private room for you to enjoy, and full access to the rest of the house. The unit itself is located on the ground floor and boasts lots of exposed brick and natural stone from when the building was built in the 1850's. You will have access to your own private bathroom with plenty of towels, toiletries, and a bidet to keep you clean and refreshed :) Breakfast can be provided (milk, cereal, fruit, toast, etc) upon request, so just let us know if you're interested and we will make sure it's all available. We are located directly on Rideau street surrounded by 3-4 beautiful parks, a 10-15 minute walk to the heart of the ByWard market and the Rideau shopping centre. Another 5 minutes past the Rideau centre you will have access to Parliament and just minutes away from Bank and Elgin street, which are both full of shops, restaurants, and other businesses. Guest access Full house access, if your friendly and don’t want to spend all your time in the room come out and join us, watch some Netflix eat some of our food (we like to cook and we do it pretty good, so don't be shy) During your stay I’m available via text, email or phone, if you have any questions, need any recommendations, etc Other things to note There is free street parking along Wurttemberg St near the MacDonald Gardens Park across from the Turkish Embassy. There is a 3 hour limit between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday and a 6 hour limit on weekends and no limits overnight from 7pm to 7am. (You can park there all day as long as you move your car at some point). If street parking is not suitable, our personal parking spot is available in front of the building entrance free of charge.
