A large, private, fully equipped, 2-bedroom/3-room non-smoking apartment with in-unit washer/dryer and full airconditioning (NEW 2026). Enjoy a weekend in central Basel; easy connections to Basel Euroairport, SBB train station, and Basel Messe (Fair). Walkable to the city center in under 20 min. Trams (1,3) and buses (38,31) steps away. Spacious 80 m2/ 860 sq.ft to not be cramped. There is a minimal of personal items and (live) plants in the apartment (that you don’t need to take care of). The space Spacious at 80 m2 /860 sq feet This apartment is located on the top 5th floor (accessible through elevator and stairs). Check-in is anytime after 3 pm and Check-out at 11 am. But often we can be flexible, so contact us ahead of time. → Entry hallway with cleaning supplies closet/wardrobe. → Living room with 4-person dining table and access to the full-size kitchen. There is a tv, setup with local channels (including some English speaking ones). NEW 2026: built-in airconditioning (summer). » The kitchen is fully equipped with electric appliances to cook up a full meal. Seperate large fridge and freezer and a dishwasher to clean up after. Some basics as cooking oil, condiments, aluminum/plastic foil, and starter supplies of coffee and tea are provided. → Hallway guest toilet. This has a large mirror storage unit, toilet, and sink. » Washer and Dryer in unit so that you have enough clean clothes for your stay. → Bedroom 1: main bedroom with kingsize 2-person bed (160 cm x 200 cm), NEW 2026 built-in airconditioning (summer), steamer for clothes, and access to the bathroom. » The granite bathroom (note that there is no entry from the hallway) has a large mirror, sink, hairdryer, shower, and toilet. → Bedroom 2: study room with desk and chair. With pullout 2-person sofabed (140 cm x 200 cm) and adjacent small balcony. NEW 2026 built-in airconditioning (summer). The office is set up with an ergonomic chair, 26-inch monitor with integrated speakers (HDMI plug), ergonomic monitor stand with space for phone/ipad, Swiss electricity plugs, foot rest. » Accessible from bedroom 2 is a balcony with a table and 2 chairs with view to the incourt and Basel city. Towels, linen, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, dishwashing soap, handsoap, toilet paper, and paper towels are supplied. There will be 2 pillows and 1 duvet (single person size) per guest with beds made in european style, but there can be (limited) extra supplies if you need more. The apartment is thought for 4 people, assuming they use the 2 person-beds. If you need separate beds, please ask us to see what we can do (e.g., air mattress in master bedroom). We reserve the right to not accomodate this. Floor heating is controlled by the building maintenance agency but individual controls to reduce heat are available in the apartment. Guest access You will have access to the full apartment during your stay. There will be no other people sharing. You will receive one (1) electronic key fob during your stay. Please see the information in the "Things to know" section at the bottom of the page under "House Rules" how you can receive a second key fob (for an administrative fee) or how to navigate best when you are with a party. Other things to note We work together with the Basel Tourism Board and we are required to register you as our guest. Therefore all guests are asked to provide: First and Last name, nationality, date of birth, and country of residence. You will receive a BaselCard that enables you to use Basel public transport for free from day of arrival and discounts for Basel attractions. The apartment has not been childproofed and there are sharp corners and utensils, uncovered electrical outlets, plants, balcony, cleaning products, etc. Therefore, it is less suitable for children.
